The people were very friendly, they cooked my food to order. This dish was really good for someone being introduced to Africa food because it’s not too spicy. The spice is good but not overwhelming. The lamb was really good. I truly enjoyed my experience so much so that I called them to tell them how awesome everything was. I would recommend this place ten times over and I can’t wait to go back.

I rarely review places, but this one definitely deserves one. I ordered off Ubers eat around 7:00, and I didn’t get my food til 8:15. The food was lukewarm. The egusi was OILY, and they mainly served me bone or whatever rubbery substance this is without barely any meat. If there was meet, it wasn’t fully cooked and it was rubbery. The egusi itself was horrible, and I don’t know what egusi is supposed to taste like but definitely not this. And had a weird smell too. Ew, I would’ve preferred McDonald’s.

I must make a distinction between Upper Derby one and the Philly one. While the food is pretty much the same, customer service is very different. I would drive longer to Upper Derby just to avoid Philly’s trashy service.

Food is always so delicious! Today I brought my family here for lunch to try and we got cassava leaf and peanut butter soup with fufu it was delicious! The kids are picky and they even enjoyed it. We are full service was good food was fresh. WE WILL BE BACK

Personable well mannered young Man named Maka at the front desk. Healthy dishes at an affordable price. Parking is a problem as it is a small lot and filled after just 4 cars and it seems employees or people who park walk elsewhere take up 90%.

Amazing food. If you want the west African cuisine experience, this is your spot. You may then ask why the low grade. The grade has nothing to do with the food but service during my dining experience. First is the wait to be served then came the attitude from who I believe is daughter of owner, then to fork and spoon, no knife wrapped in kitchen paper towel.. I could go on and on.. Everyone is talking and by that I meant the staff are either busy on their cell phones with private calls or talking loudly to each other. When food is served no water is offered. No table tissues .. bottom line .. take your food and go enjoy at home…
