Was looking for something new to try aside from our regular fast food stop. So we decided to stop by at del pueblo cafe. The service here was great. They had our food out in a short time and no long wait. The food tasted good and what gets them 5 stars is their customer service. The attendant was very fast at getting our orders and checking in on us very often. Would definitely recommend.

Del pueblo café is a great neighborhood cafe that is family own and serve delicious Mexican food. They have a great atmosphere and beautiful Chicana/o decor. I particularly go for their salsa dishes like the mole enchiladas and Chile Verde.

Took my 5 & 7 year old here for dinner. The waiter told us they have chips and salsa just for kids – it’s the first time my 5 year old had actually enjoyed salsa! My 7 year old chose the shrimp tacos and he was stoked and ate it all! Definitely a kid friendly place, especially with all the decor on the walls. We’ll absolutely go back

Got some takeout the other night and can’t say it looked very appetizing once I opened the box. I got the chicken mole enchiladas and my partner got the chicken chimichanga. Thankfully it tasted better than it looked, but not the best I’ve had. Don’t like that they use styrofoam containers.. there are better alternatives that can be recycled or composted.

Messed up my order for a combination plate, and the cook complained about cooking to other staff even though the restaurant wasn’t closing until 40 mins later. Bad experience, pricy food, and subpar quality.

I’ve always loved their enchiladas, equally happy with red or green sauce. I also like that you can substitute veggies and salad for the rice and beans. I need to make more trips to this restaurant.

The staff is wonderful, they are accommodating to whatever requests you have. The price you pay for the quality you get is amazing. One of my favorite Mexican restaurants in all of Santa Barbara, and what a cool and funky inside they have! Hats off to Del Pueblo!
