We went here after checking out an estate sale in Childersburg. I had seen the episode of Restaurant Impossible that featured this restaurant, so we decided to go here for lunch! Our server was Sydney and she was so sweet. We split a classic lasagna and a Philly cheesesteak with a side Ceasar salad, everything was delicious! Also the serving sizes are quite large! The only thing we didn’t like so much was the appetizer bread, it could’ve been toasted instead of just warmed.

First time visit. We ordered a deep dish pizza (pictured) with some wings as an appetizer. They offer complimentary garlic bread which was very tasty (and refillable). The wings weren’t as crispy as we would have liked but had a decent flavor. The deep dish pizza (not a traditional Chicago style deep dish) was cooked perfectly with the right balance of sauce, cheese and toppings.

I am from Brooklyn N.Y. land of great Italian food. I was on a business trip heading back home when I happened onto your restaurant. Brooklyn has a formidable compatible restaurant with you.

Was told by a bunch of people to try out this pizza out. The chicken alfredo was amazing. I am a man with a big appetite for great food. Giovanni’s didn’t let me down either. It took around 20 minutes for our food to come out to us but it was worth the wait. This Pizza was was $20 but it could feed 3 to 4 people. I only ate 3 slices and I was stuffed. There sweet tea was great also. If I didn’t hear about it from friends that went there before I did, I would have never known it was there.

Excellent food and lots of it. Calzone was wonderful! A little slow coming from the kitchen, but not maddeningly. If in Sylacauga we’ll eat there again!

Warm and friendly ambiance. Janean was a pleasant server. Only reason I didn’t give a 5 star rating is because we ordered an appetizer and they forgot to bring it to us. By the time we received it it was room temperature. It was still good though. My daughter didn’t like her stromboli. Being from the Philadelphia area I guess it just didn’t taste like home.

Update: Appears to have gone through some changes. The new decor is nice and modern. The food is still great!

Wish I could place a to go order right now. Your phone is going straight to voicemail. I would have spent a lot of money on your great food! Maybe next time.

Make sure you go in there hungry. The food is great and portion sizes are huge. My husband got the stuffed baked ziti and could only eat half. The price was great, I have paid way more for food that was no where near the quality this was. Then to top it off, we went in on Easter Sunday evening, and the service was great. Even though they had just finished what I would assume was a fairly busy Sunday, there was not a moment that any of the staff looked frustrated in fact we were checked on by everyone. I use to be a FOH restaurant manager and I was impressed. Whatever y’all are doing, please keep it up! We will be back next time we come through town.
