Let me start by saying mmmmmmmm. Best brisket I’ve had in Chicagoland so far. The brisket sandwich was perfect, generous amount of meat the bun was good the sauce was delicious it had the perfect zing to it. I ordered Mac and cheese,mashed potatoes (could have used some more gravy). Fries were a bit greasy but good. Definitely going back. I ordered delivery and the sandwich was not soggy it was perfect. I’ll dine in next time

I did not eat here but the aroma was delicious…I was out just looking around and I came across this place and if the food is anything like the smokey flavor I give it 5 stars… another reason although I was in the lobby looking at the menu…a young came and told I was looking at the wrong one… and the guy behind the counter waved when I left… next time I’m in Forest Park I will be coming here to dine… never knew smoke could smell so good.

I love this place and everyone I have told agrees. The food is cooked to perfection. Everything is very tasty. I usually go with their meat special to get a bit of everything. You must try this place if you haven’t already. I promise you, you will not be disappointed. Definitely my favorite bbq place.

I can’t say I didn’t like the food. First time here, customer service was very good. I don’t think I got to sit down all the way and my food was already being brought out to our table. I had the pulled pork sandwich, Mac and cheese, corn bread (2 slices), and hush puppies ( delicious). The place is rustic and has plenty of windows. There is parking that you pay for, it’s about $1/hr which is perfect. I spent about 1 and a half here. They also serve beer and hard seltzers.

The pulled pork is delicious. I also really like the Mac and cheese. The cornbread is super moist and delicious. My sons had the ribs and loved the flavor. The girl at the register is super friendly and made ordering easy. The restaurant is full of atmosphere and good music. The restaurant itself was very clean. I will definitely be coming back.

For the amount of money spent on this, it was not worth it at all. I’ll start with the Mac, over cooked noodles and some were a bit hard(in pic) and seemed have been in the warmer for a while. The mashed potatoes, well you can’t mess those up, wink, wink. But oh, the brisket, the saddest part of the meal. Hardly any smoke flavor, sliced too thick and with the grain, instead of against. The brisket didn’t seem to have any fat trimmed from it. I only got 3 big chunky and fatty pieces. Fairly dissatisfied, I used to frequent Q when they were on Diversey and never had a meal this disappointing.

Nice place too have bbq. Went there for lunch and had the selection of meats. A little stiffer than I’d like. Brisket, sausage, and pulled pork was good. Ribs and other beef were dry. Nice place though and clean and good service
