This was our first experience eating there. We have heard great things and for our date night we wanted to try something new. We got a great seat outside. Our Server Cari was quick, nice, friendly, and extremely helpful with helping us choose apps and our main course. Her suggestions were on point and did not disappoint at all. We ended up choosing two apps and 3 main dishes as everything looked amazing. The Totchos, Cheese curds for apps and the main courses Chicken Fried Steak, Southwest Cheesesteak, and the Grilled Gound were amazing as well as their aoli sauce were delicious. Trust me, they did not disappoint.. prices were great and portions were more than enough. Great drinks, amazing food, and great service. I highly recommend. Especially for a date night or family night out. Huge shout out to our server Cari, we will definitely go back because of her.

I found the Silver Spur using google reviews while I was in town for work. The service and food were both excellent. The Country Fried Steak with mashed potatoes and coleslaw will not leave you disappointed. Will visit again!

Nice place, down-home feel without being rustic or dingey. Standard offering but consistently good quality and tasty food. Always had great service. Has a little bit of a rancher/cowboy vibe and even though that’s not really my thing, The Spur always seems inviting and comfortable. Maybe a little overpriced, but what restaurant isn’t these days.

We stopped in to eat at the Silver Spur in Ft. Pierre on a recent Friday afternoon (6/14/19) during a trip from eastern Kansas to spend a week vacation in the Black Hills area of western South Dakota -a great place with excellent food and friendly staff! We had our 81 year old Mother with us, who last stepped foot into the Silver Spur 62 years ago in the summer of 1957. It brought back a lot of really good memories for her – and is still at the exact same address as it was back then, she loved it!
