It might not look like much on the outside, but this place serves good, easy and simple food a la cart. Inside, it’s a cute little diner. The patty melt looked awesome, but I opted for the German burger…because sauerkraut. The coleslaw, curly fries and rhubarb pie were all great. And the prices are great, too. We were just passing through town and thought we’d stop for lunch. Glad we did!

Awesome food. The special was chicken deluxe and it was cooked perfectly. The staff is very personable and the environment is like a typical small town diner. The fries are piping hot and crisp as well.

What a great little restaurant in a small town with a big and cozy atmosphere! My friends and I stopped here on the way to the casino and had such a great time especially with staff interaction, great food too. Just a couple of vegetarian options added in the future would be awesome. I’ll be back!!

My family and I stopped at Pete’s Grill for lunch while we were traveling back home after spending a few days at a lake up north. It was well after the lunch hour when we got there but the ladies had no problem firing up their oven and stove again just for us. The inside of the diner is nicely decorated and well-cared for, the place brought back childhood memories of the diners I visited with my parents. I ordered some chicken tenders and fries, which were very satisfying. A couple of my kids ordered burgers and were well-pleased with them. The prices were reasonable as well. If you are going to be in or around Hector, then I recommend stopping in at Pete’s Grill for a tasty lunch. 🙂

Great food, moderate pricing. Their mozzarella sticks are absolutely great. Their desserts are fantastic too (had lemon cake there, it was good). Good selection in drinks, and also have breakfast options.
