Not the best sushi I’ve had. It was freshly made but the flavors were okay and the rolls contained a large amount of rice. I wish the menu specified which ones were tempura fried as it was a little misleading. We tried the Nigori strawberry cloudy sake which was sweet and tasty! I thought the regular pricing for the sushi was way overpriced, may only come here for happy hour.

The tempura was wonderful. The batter was light, the veggies were crisp and the shrimp was straight as a bean, which I loved! The spicy crab roll was very tasty as well. This is the first time we have been to this restaurant. We went for “Happy Hour” prices on the majority of the rolls. It was well worth stopping in and we will go back more often. We’ve tried 3 other places in the Gilbert/Chandler area, this is the favorite. We had wonderful sushi in the state where we previously lived, so we’ve become picky on what we like. This place passes.

It’s a nice spot for the family gathering! We often order delivery online, and this is my first time to eat here, I really love the foods here and the atmosphere is very comfortable. The lighting and music are just perfect. I’m so happy we have this type sushi place in our neighborhood. Now We have a new&nice spot to hang out with friends and family. The prices are also very nice, especially the happy hour menu! Support local businesses!!!

I really am thinking that the positive reviews are from friends. I was there having dinner with a friend and witnessed the waitress being so rude with other customers in the restaurant who had children with them. She was aggressive and raising her voice. Very unprofessional and rude staff. Who does that with children around? I came here to eat in peace and go home. This was my first and last time that I will come here. The cooked food was decent, I enjoyed the gyoza, however the raw sushi had a sour taste and a very fishy smell. Also, I was told that they have a happy hour yet they charged me full price for everything. Very sneaky business, be very careful and make sure to double check your bill prior to leaving. Definitely not worth the price for the amount of food that you get. I spent close to $30 on just myself and still left hungry, and I ordered a water. I do not recommend. Very disappointed, will not go back.

This place is a hidden gem! Never once have we been disappointed when coming here. The tuna is AMAZING and so fresh, and I highly recommend you start off with an order (or 3) of gyoza ! Shinme Sushi has become a go to spot for us.

The place was alright, the sushi was pretty good. It was a little dimly lit. There was only one waitress and the chef, and food came out promptly, but I was given someone else’s order by mistake. Not bad, but not outstanding either.

We were treated rudely from the moment we walked through the door. I asked for a booth because my friend is very thin and the wooden chairs hurt her back, and we were told no I could sit in the wooden chair, and she could sit on the other side now all of that would’ve been fine until I asked for some extra sauce for my Gyoza, and was told in order to get that extra sauce I have to order an entirely another order of Gyoza . That is the stupidest thing I have ever heard and I will not be going back. They could’ve charged me an extra charge. They could’ve done a number of things but to tell me no I can’t have extra sauce for my Gyoza unless I pay for a whole order is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard
