Clean, good quick service, waitresses say thank you, which is a big plus nowadays. Good size portions and prices. Good value. I got braised beef noodles soup. The beef was a but tougher than other places but they gave a lot of meat, noodles, and soup.

Ok… orange chicken was the bomb. The mapo tofu and seafood fried rice was salty. The walnut shrimp was good. I’ll try and come back for the other items. Not bad…

Waimalu Chop Suey has improved extensively. Stopped going 4 years ago due to saltiness & MSG. Retried recently twice & food quality, price & seasoning surpassed my expectations! Ordered 6 items such as shrimp with bittermelon; pot roast chicken; Beef with sweet sour cabbage; Boneless minute chicken cake noodle ; Kau Yuk(brown) & sweet sour pork. All were delicious except for Kau Yuk was mushy. Only slight complaint, they need to sit people faster! A lot of space but takeout orders seem to take prescient over dining in. But we will definitely go back for more.

There was a fly cooked in out honey walnut shrimp … the lady was disrespectful so I chose not to give tip. And she pointed at the receipt saying where the tip? I said there was a fly cooked in our shrimp aunty … she grab the receipt walked away.

I ordered Salt and Pepper Shrimp, Fried Mahi Mahi and the today special, Chinese Long Beans Chicken. The total came to $38.⁶⁷ and of course I tipped to be kind to those who feeds me. Sadly to say, it ain’t worth it due to the portions I received. The Salt and Pepper Shrimp is priced at $13.⁹⁹ as for the Mahi, it’s been priced at $12.⁹⁹ and the Chicken is at $10.⁹⁹. I was at least thinking that I would get rice with my order but I did not. My portion for Shrimp should’ve been $9.⁰⁰ dollars worth, Mahi should’ve been $8.⁰⁰ and the Chicken should be $6.⁰⁰ dollars. Now if they added rice and a little bit more to the portion, then it’ll be fair.
