We were happy to see them re-open. I had the lunch special of smothered pork chops and the pork chops were fork-tender. The gravy was made from scratch. I chose to put it across the (made from scratch and real) mashed potatoes. My friend had the blackened catfish. It was a little on the salty side, but it was still very tasty. Overall, our meals were delicious. The servers were friendly and helpful, including the chef when I had questions. It was well-lit and we liked that. We will definitely return.

Have been wanting to try this restaurant for some time. We decided to order take out. After being greeted by a very nice young lady, l ordered The wings and the chicken quesadilla. While waiting the owner introduced himself and offered me a drink while I waited. The very nice young lady who greeted me was his daughter. Soon an old friend appeared out of the kitchen whom was the chef. My food came soon after and I as I left, I knew that I would definitely return. The food was great as I had a hard time not going into that bag on the short ride home.

First time here. We had the Sunday buffet. I had the broccoli salad, cabbage, steamed squash, beef ribs, sausage, and pasta salad. My wife had the broccoli salad, chefs salad, white beans, fried fish, and beef ribs. It was all great. The only thing was that the sausage was too salty, and my wife said the same about the beans. Service was great. I recommend it.

This place is great for lunch. Home cooked style food in a buffet fashion. You go through the line and they serve you up. The fried chicken was cooked perfectly. Normally, I prefer dark meat, but the breast was extremely moist. Dang good!

1st time visit today. We had the Sunday buffet brunch, which the food was really good. The reason why I only gave 4 stars for service was for the way they have the buffet line setup. It could definitely be improved and be more efficient to shorten the wait in line. The attention from the table servers was fantastic, though.

Me and my wife had a wonderful experience. All the staff came around and were very polite and helpful. Food was excellent. Wife had a burger, I had the hamburger steak. Has the perfect bar to dining ratio. Will definitely be going again.

Drove one hour to eat the Sunday buffet. Not at all what I thought it would be for $18 buffet. Food was average. Instant potatoes. Friendly hostess. Menu items may be better.

Had a great time last night with our visit. Just hanging out, having some drinks. Decided to order food too, which the line has a surprising menu from what I was expecting, like the chicken fried steak, rack of ribs, etc. The waitress for us was new, but she did a great job (Ro I believe it was). We did end up waiting a bit for our apps and entrees, which they were pretty backed up due to the crowd showing up all at once and they only had one chef in back (someone called in or something). But they apologized several times, gave us a shot to help with it. We were pretty patient and definitely want to give it another shot, since they’ve only been open 5 weeks, working out the kinks comes with it.
