Great food for a great price! We really enjoyed eating here without breaking the bank. This place is in a great location where it’s easy to get back on the road quickly. The meat pairs nicely with their homemade bbq sauce. I highly recommend the fried corn cobs! You might have to ask them to take it easy on the salt for the corn. The coleslaw was freshly made and bursting with flavor. We also had dessert. Hot homemade apple cobbler with two scoops of vanilla ice cream! We will stop here anytime we pass through!

Only 4 stars because I haven’t tried anything but one thing. The ribs were amazing. Went on a Thursday which has a special sandwich. It’s a blend of turkey, rib meat, and brisket. Good flavor just not for me. The potato salad and Cole slaw were both very good. The kids got a brisket sandwich and it was very nice. Will be back. Definitely want to try the potato spuds. They also have a variety of Cajun food.

This is the place for Texas BBQ! Service was great, very friendly. Drinks never dropped below half as she was always by to refill. Food came out pretty quickly but was absolutely delicious. My pulled pork sandwich was tender and juicy and sweet potato waffle fries were just the right amount of soft and crunchy. For those with big appetites, you can go wrong with a whole pound of meat on a baked potato! Prices were very reasonable for the serving sizes.

Everyone in the place seemed to know each other. Great hometown feel with cool decor. The waitress was friendly. There’s a decent selection of food. The brisket and gumbo were delicious. This is definitely a good spot to stop and grab a bite.

Just went to try it since moving far away. Food was very underwhelming. Brisket cold and dry, barely any meat on the ribs and tasted old and very dry, hot links were cold. Potato salad tasted old and sour, cold slaw tasted old too. Wait Staff was friendly and fast, just really bad food this time. Nothing was fresh. Way over priced meal for 2 at $ 50.

You would think that most places in Texas have their brisket game tight. Not here. Brisket was awful. Ribs were good, sausage was good. Although much too watery, the gumbo was tasty with generous portions of sausage and pulled pork.

Drove all the way from Wyoming to get some real Texas BBQ. Glad I did.
