Stopped by here for a quick bite to eat. The cashier is a bit cold & I ended up waiting for what seemed like 10 minutes at the register while nobody was manning it. There was this weird tension & I have no clue why, especially this early in the morning. As far as the food goes, it is made fresh with tons of ingredients. They serve really big portions so you get your money’s worth (albeit their prices reflect the portion sizes so they might seem overpriced to new customers.)

My first time in el don was today. I dined in, the resturant is insanely clean. You could probably eat your meal off the floor If you wanted to. On top of that the food was fantastic. They only do steak and chicken and that’s all you need because they have perfected both of those meats. 10/10 would recommend. Amazing spot

Family I have found my new taco spot in the Alsip area! The steak is SEASONED and fire grilled. I bought 1 with cilantro onion and chihuahua cheese just to try out out. Needless to say I will be back for more and the chicken taco is fire grilled too. I’m a picky taco eater and I’m telling y’all, this spot is the best and I’ve tried them ALL in this area.

Get the steak tacos Mexican style! Don’t forget to get green sauce, theirs is darker then most but tastes much better. I wish the corn shells were a little tougher because they fall apart easy but other then that the meat was on point and so was the spice to the green sauce! 10/5! Best tacos I’ve had in a while. Don’t go to El coyote across the street. The food is blan tasting and twice the price. El Don is the way to go!

The food is real good the arrachera is good, but they a little stingy with the tacos portions and they dont cut the arrachera against the grains so is a little tough to bite off but over all everything is good, the chicken and the meat are really tasty!
