The Sloop is a locals eatery and watering hole. We do welcome families and children but please remember that we are a sports bar with great homemade items. We do enjoy our island visitors as well! Due to our size limitation we can only handle seating of 8 or less during peak hours.
Unfortunately we cannot accept to go orders during peak hours. This is usually from 11:30am-2:00pm during lunch and 6:30pm-8:30pm during dinner. Due to our size and staff limitations our to go menu is limited. Thank you for understanding.

Ive heard this place has the best Philly Cheesesteak you can get south of actual Philly. Well I tried one today and I will say it was one of the tastiest ones I’ve had. I wanted another. Next time I’ll just get the 12”. It does comes loaded with meat n cheese, so no need to ask for extra. Homemade Potato chips complimented it, but more of a garnish.. I am curious to see how the hand cut fries taste. Well worth the drive up Gulf Shore Parkway. Cool, local watering hole with live music at night. They have a cool beach themed patio. Most def recommend giving this place a try!

Great local bar with great food! I highly recommend the buffalo chicken party fries! They are so good! Fresh cut fries topped with lots of shredded chicken, buffalo sauce and mozzarella cheese. We get them every time we come to Gulf Shores. They also have cheese steak party fries, which are equally delicious! We always get great service and delicious food when we visit. They also have lots of TV’s if you want to catch a game while you eat!

This is our first time here and let me say this place doesn’t disappoint! Our food came out super fast and sreaming hot! We got the cheesesteak party fries and the stuffed mushrooms and they were delicious. Our server Katie was on point and made sure we didn’t wait. This place is a must try if u are in the gulf shores area. Great job guys!!

Great experience — good food, drinks, and service. Drank Sloopjuice, that had banana liquor, two different rums, and orange pineapple juice. Started with the cheesesteak egg rolls which were great. Finished with the saucy meatball sandwich, also great.
