We ordered the Smoked Chicken Spud plate and a side order of Smoked Chicken. It was excellent as usual. If you haven’t tried it you need to do so. You can thank me later. The sides of hushpuppies and slaw were terrific as well. Just the way I prefer them. The price was reasonable and service time was quick and accurate. Will be back soon!

Gave this place a try while in the area for work on our motorhome. A small place with only a few tables for eat in, as a lot of their business is take out. Service was fast and friendly, and as long as you stick with the fried catfish, the food is good. Don’t waste your money on the frozen shrimp. Prices are reasonable for what you get.

Small town catfish joint that is a little hidden from the public while being right next to the main highway. We both had the catfish and hushpuppies. Great seasoning and well cooked catfish and perfect hushpuppies. The portions are meant for the hungry, we both took home leftovers for lunch the following day.

We stopped here by referral by the locals. I must say. This place is a hole in the wall that serves up some of the best Hushpuppies I have ever had in my life. The catfish is top notch and the Chicken is top notch as well. If you don’t stop in and have the experience. You are missing out on some good eats.

Stopped here after kayaking at bear creek. Let me tell you they have some of the best hush puppies I have ever had. Like they were so darn good. The catfish plate was great too! I would definitely recommend this place if you like a lil bit southern cooking.

I’m always amazed by places in the middle of nowhere far from the sea who serve great, traditional fried seafood. While waiting for service in nearby Red Bay, AL, we decided to partake in this highly recommended place although you can tell they aren’t used to people sitting in the building to eat: the drive-thru line is a long road and most folks I’d call “locals” came and went with a side glance at the silly people sitting at the long Walmart-like plastic tables under the taxidermized deer and ram heads. I’d recommend the shrimp but you can’t go wrong with anything they serve.
