1st time visitor – So I’m sitting in my office in the Metrolina businesspark this morning and the doorbell rings…I open the door and find this guy dressed in a Bubba Shirt standing there looking all hot, tired, and sweaty. He launches right into his spiel about how Bubba’s has reopened and he’s out pounding the pavement drumming up new business. He hands me a handful of fliers for the break room and some business cards good for a free sandwich! Awesome!

It ain’t fancy but the BBQ is excellent! I’ve been going there for about 20 years now and except for the way they take orders (used to have wait people but now Bubba takes your order when you walk in) not much has changed. Stopped by yesterday for the first time in 10 years and was not disappointed. Love the parking lot signs.

Great BBQ. Dined in and loved it. I went to this place 30 years ago when i was 4as one of my earliest memories with my grandfather. It’s nice it’s still here. My only complaint is that it tasted microwaved. The BBQ and the sides. Perhaps it was just in a hot well for too long. I wish it had tasted fresh.

We have enjoyed bbq across the country and found this gem on our short stay in Charlotte. We decided on the sampler plate and it exceeded our expectation! Quality cuts, flavorful sauces and delicious sides made this a fantastic choice. Banana pudding was super yummy! Staff and Bubba made this visit one to remember. Come and enjoy for yourself!!

It’s expensive.I had the sampler the brisket was dry. The pulled pork had no flavor. The broccoli salad was on the yucky side. The Mac and cheese was dry. I have had better baked beans from a can. The chicken tenders were ok. The pinto cheese was such a small serving with nothing to dip it in. This place is nothing to write home about and I won’t go back.

Finally, at long last, Bubba’s was open when we were in the area. Bubba’s has been a fave for years. When we’ve been through the Charlotte area every summer we have stopped by. But they were closed still because of COVID. This week we were swinging by and called-just on the chance… And they had re-opened! Just as always, the pulled pork was perfect. The chicken fingers were delish. I drank so much tea I couldnt sleep that night! Welcome back, Bubba’s!
