Inspired by New Orleans’s stimulating cuisine and our love for cooking, we dreamed of bringing our delicious South American empanadas to town. Empanola was born in 2017, allowing us to see our project manifest. Bringing to our customers Latin-inspired, Louisiana-influenced, and lots of vegetarian flavors. Passed Empanola on Magazine street but had just ate so we didn’t stop in. I couldn’t stop thinking about empanadas so we made a point to go back a few days later before leaving the city and I’m so glad we did!!

Wow, just wow! We stumbled upon this place while sightseeing on Magazine Street and just wanted to grab something to tie us over until dinner. We didn’t expect it to be so good and unique! There were so many varieties of empanadas and they were stamped with their flavor on the outside crust. The flavors we got were very tasty and it was one of the best food experiences we had in New Orleans. I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for a new and fun experience with delicious food. Also, hats off to the guy working, he was very chill and knowledgeable.

Enjoyable, although not really authentic empanadas. I had the chorizo and the Peruvian chicken and both were tasty. A nice snack or lunch but given all of the food options in NOLA I found this more a fun something different to try than something I would seek out again.

Very fresh empanadas with lots of flavors. Highly recommend the impossible and mushroom and spinach for the vegan options. Staff are nice but the wait can be long.
