Where the food lacks the atmosphere and service make up for it. When we arrived, they were no customers there and only one staff member. Therefore, there’s no way the food was cooked fresh. I believe it may have been cooked earlier that day or before. I ordered the oxtails and potato salad (which is warm mayo based ) with a rum cake. My friend had oxtails as well. We ordered the appetizer which consisted of smoked jerk wings, a beef patty, and coconut shrimp. Jerk sauce and pina colada sauce.

This place is a unique experience. The food is delicious and the staff is friendly. I had the Jerk Chicken with the rice & beans and mac & cheese and my wife had the red snapper with plantains. The atmosphere is so good can’t help but feel happy when you leave. We will definitely be back!

In town for work and stopped by here for lunch today. The food was incredible. I had the stew chicken, rice and peas, and plantains. There’s literally nothing I can complain about. Crystal was an awesome server. She made recommendations and took the best care of us. 10/10 will come back to Indianapolis so I can eat here again.

I ordered off of Ubereats and I ordered two meals and only received a partial order. I called up there and was told I only ordered one meal and some rice but my total came up to 49 dollars. My plantains were burnt beyond recognition and I don’t understand why someone would include that with a customer’s meal. I ordered online but had to drive up to the establishment and was greeted with I’m trying to get over instead of poor customer service and negligence on the owner or chef’s fault, not how can I make this right or here is a free drink for your troubles. They did provide the other meal and edible plantains but alas I paid for it. I think I’m done going to this restaurant for good.

First time to a Jamaican cuisine nearby. Started with two non Alcoholic punches and a Jamaican coffee. It tasted just like a flavored sugary water. Even the Jamaican coffee was not thick, still the same loosened and non flavoring. We did order the appetizer ( taco and rolls ) which were well cooked and fresh. Next comes the Main dish – trio chicken ( three flavored chicken ) – I really loved the taste of coconut and bbq flavor, a new lamb dish curry which was well appetizing and tasted so good, the last was the ackee and cod fish – mix of dry fish salted and fried fresh fish. The taste was completely different than any other cuisines tried till now. Less salted, less spicy food. There are many varieties still the authenticity is missing.

I had heard so many wonderful things about this place and their oxtail stew. I really wanted to like them. Unfortunately, there was more bone than there was meat in this dish and the sauce was so overly salted I couldn’t taste anything but salt. The portion was definitely not $22 worth as it was all rice, and bone. After a few bites, it went into the trash. I cannot speak on the atmosphere or the friendliness of the staff as I ordered through doordash.

My first time at this location and I must say it was vey good I just wanted more ox tails mine were very small. For me it was my lunch/dinner for work . I wonder if I can get just a bowl of ox tails by them selves? I had ox tails rice and cabbage and a Jamaican pattie. Since my order was to go can speak about the atmosphere but I can say it is clean. I will be going back I want to try the red snapper that takes 40 minutes to cook.

Yesterday was my third time going and I never had any problems but an hour after eating I starting getting stomach cramps then I was plagued with diarrhea and projectile vomiting until 1am. I’m still having stomach problems the next day. The food tasted good but the food poisoning is not worth it! The oxtails and rice was the only thing I ate that day and I was constantly reminded of the bad choice I made all night! Will not be back. I’ve never been so sick in my life!!!!
