Brother’s Diner oxtails were to die for. It was a lot of food, but all I left was bones after! So tender and flavorful. The greens were also delicious and the yams were pretty good too. The bread it came with was just okay, kinda dry. Be aware there’s not much seating, but fortunately I was alone and was able to sit. Everyone there was very friendly and the food came out right away. Hope I get to come again soon and try the catfish and wings!

This is definitely a neighborhood staple. It has an old charm to it, so it’s not to be judged by its exterior or area. Everytime I’ve visited the customer service has always been warm, friendly and inviting. The food is always amazing and very affordable. The only critique I have is that they need a house season for the fries. Other than that, they have a variety of options for whatever you may want at the moment. If you’re in the area stop by and give it a try!

This place food is amazing!! The only I’m giving 4 stars is because this my second time ordering the pork chop breakfast plate!! My potatoes never be done all the way!! They still be hard, take your time even when you’re busy. I’ll wait that extra 15-20 mins.

I had fried chicken, it was under cooked.The dressing was too. The hot water cornbread was horrible. Sweet potatoes weren’t sweet.The greens&cabbage mix was good. The man that took my order didn’t have any manners.Some ppl my call him rude, he just didn’t know how to talk politely. Like not saying thank you.

My husband and i got breakfast i got bacon and sausage. Cheese eggs. Potatoes and cheese toast it was amazing and a great price my husband got the same thing but instead of cheese toast he got a waffle he loved it. It was fresh and fluffy right out of the waffle iron. Lol we will most definitely return to try lots of other things on the menu if u in st.louis city stop bye because u wont be disappointed

I’m pescatarian, so I always get the fried catfish with spaghetti (only served on weekends) and string beans. LOVE! Sometimes in the morning I get the salmon croquettes which are FIRE! The banana pudding is so delicious as well. Love Brothers Diner. Definitely a STL city soul food gem . The staff are always welcoming and kind. Great place for some good soul food.
