Top notch barbecue! If you are passing through Little Rock, it is worth the drive 100%. I been a patron for about 10 years. It is very consistent in quality. The pit-masters are phenomenal. The prices are reasonable. The portion are healthy. The staff are very nice. Decor is functional and clean. You order at the counter and they call your number. It is a seat yourself establishment. Drinks come in to go cups and with unlimited refills. They do serve beer and wine which is brought to the table in glass. The restaurant can seat a hundred plus. They have a dedicated to-go counter. They do catering as well. There should be no reason you should leave full and happy!

The sliced brisket and pulled pork are good all by themselves. Choosing from 6 different barbecue sauces was a delight. Go here for great barbecue.

Pretty good place! Lots of sauce flavor choices. Wish they had more meats but taste is great!

The last time I ate here I had the rib plate which was pretty good. But today I tried to go cheaper for lunch and just got a brisket sandwich meal which includes 1 side and a drink. The brisket was plentiful and tasty but definitely needs sauce. Thankfully they have 6 sauces to choose from so I found 2 that worked for me. I chose mac-n-cheese for my side which was decent. I guess my only real issue is price. I know inflation is still a thing but 17 bucks? For a sandwich meal?? Frankly I don’t think I can afford to eat here too often. It’s a good BBQ spot, just really grippy.

My brisket sandwich was wonderful, especially with the BBQ sauce. It was a good substitute for the pulled pork that I wanted but couldn’t get because you were out of it. The mac & cheese was edible (just) and a poor substitute for the baked beans I ordered but didn’t get because you were out of it. The slaw was terrible and tasted old. I settled for a diet Coke instead of the sweet tea I wanted but couldn’t get because you were out of it. Being out of so many things would be understandable if we were there at closing time, but that wasn’t the case. On a brighter note, that salted caramel cheesecake was delicious! Overall, my first experience at Whole Hog Cafe was a disappointment and well below my expectations. At those prices, I expected better.

Outstanding BBQ joint in Little Rock. Great service, super friendly staff, and very clean and fun themed environment. Food was stellar! BBQ sauce was so good (#5) that we bought some to take home with us. Would definitely recommend you detour and make this a lunch stop on your route!

The food is award winning literally. The place is full of trophies from barbecue competition’s. There is two things that bothers me : no French fries they will tell you” not at this location” that just didn’t sit well with me. Last thing the price is unbelievable high $16 plus tax for players end up being $34 for two people which is absurd its not Red Lobster.

All around just Meh. The kid at the register was new, but he was trying very hard to do his job correctly and was very very polite. The older lady working next to him was the opposite, she got very frustrated with him when he made a mistake. I had half a mind to offer him a job and take him away from a place that clearly was not appreciative of his content of character.

I am so disappointed in this place. This is literally the worst BBQ I have ever had. Considering how many awards they have won, I expected more. Maybe they just didn’t have any competition? The BBQ was dry and it was cut wrong, so it was also stringy. There was no moisture at all in the meat. It was also badly seasoned. I was also not impressed with the service. I should have just walked back out when I first walked in. It smelled horrible! That should have been my first clue. This was definitely NOT WORTH THE MONEY!! SO DISAPPOINTED!!!!

My favorite BBQ place in Little Rock!! I’m generally a brisket fan (it’s excellent) but don’t pass up on the pulled pork!! Their cole slaw is lovely as a side or afternoon snack on a hot day!
