Eat here all the time, we absolutely love this place. We’ve tried so many things and they’ve all been good – if you want an awesome experience, split the Omakase with a friend and let the chef surprise you with a magic food journey. He made us an appetizer that had pringles as the base and it blew our minds to have sushi on pringles. The ambience inside is very cool, dimly lit with purples and green and usually something fun to watch on the screens

I was so excited when my hometown finally got a good Japanese restaurant option. I am a huge fan of sushi and have quite the limitless options living in Chicagoland. When I visit my hometown, which is quite often these days, I am happy I can get a decent sushi dinner or lunch for reasonable prices. The staff is always super friendly, especially Colleen, and it’s easy to place a pick up order – I have placed MANY and it’s always been 100% accurate. The pricing is fair for a small town sushi place. The sushi options are incredible! The menu has a vast array of sushi (tons of rolls!) and other yummy Japanese fare. I have had the fried rice and chicken hibachi as well and it’s so good! The Maki rolls are my favorite and they never disappoint! Highly recommend this establishment for quality food and wonderful, friendly service!

This place is fantastic! I’ve been here for both lunch and dinner and both times I left completely satisfied. Living in northern Ontario, there is nothing but “acceptable” sushi. Here it is actually very good, and not only the taste, but the presentation as well. The restaurant itself is also very nice inside.

Hard to believe, but if you’re looking for good sushi you’ll have to drive to the UP in order to get it! This is not only one of the best sushi places in MI, but one of my favorite restaurants in Sault Ste Marie. The outside of the building is not all that fancy so don’t be deceived! Inside is a comfortable dining area with great service and food that is well prepared. Look forward to returning.

I have eaten here several times and the food was a delicious and the customer service was great I recommend people that were looking for a great sushi restaurant this place but today i had the worst service of my life. I have 25+ years working in restaurants everything from cashier, cook, to management ( since 14 years old, customer service is drilled into my head) there are just things you do not do when taking an order and talking to people no matter what issues you are going through. I called and placed an order and told the girl that I had several items to order. after every item she rudely asked if i was done she gave me the amount and hung up. did not give me a order number or take my name, or tell me how long till my order was ready for pick up. I placed my order shortly after they reopened around 4:35/4:40, About 5ish I showed up to get my order, figuring that would be enough time and have to wait for maybe 10 minutes. I asked the girl at the counter to speak to a manager and she said hold on. I handed her a paper with my order written on and told her the girl did not take my name or give me a number on the phone. I payed for my order when she found it. I asked politely again for a manger, the girl told me there is no manager just me and one other person. I told her i had a complaint about the girl that took my order and asked who i would talk to if there was no manager and she said no one. I told her that she was really rude on the phone and she said “Well I’m tired and have to cook and take orders and I’m working 40 f@@king hours already this week with one person, deal with it or never come back you are bulls**t.” I was starting to get mad and said “Can have my order so I can leave “She said “You a early your order isn’t ready for 35 40 f**king minutes. So i asked for a card to call the manager in the morning and went out side to wait. When i went back in to get my order the girl didn’t say anything and shoved my order at me. Needless to say I would rather cook the food I like from there my self instead of ordering from there anymore, they just lost a very regular customer due to that one experience

My son loves this place and he wanted to go out so I took him. He loved all his food. It looked good. I am not sure what i ordered but i couldn’t eat the salmon that was on it as it was still raw. (That’s how it is served) on top of a salad of odd things. It was delicious! A little out of my food comfort zone. I however recommend trying it out if you are into sushi at all.

An absolute amazing experience. Ryan was our server and he was tentative, fast, and a all around fantastic server. The food was well worth the price, possibly even so low of a price for the great quality. Friend of mine and I ordered the poke bowls and it came with free drinks and a discounted roll. Service and atmosphere was great. For an being out of towners we felt truly welcomed. Highly recommend even considering the current construction it is truly worth the drive.
