Best Fried Chicken in Central Texas! We ordered a seven piece lemon pepper dark, but since some of the pieces were small, we were given nine. We also ordered a five piece gizzard and two funnel cakes. The chicken was crispy and fried just right! I love crispy chicken with good flavor. Our order came with fries that passed the test, bread, pickle, and jalapenos. The gizzards were ok. They were cold, but I’d try them again. We weren’t able to get the funnel cakes due to the owner using all the batter, which was disappointing, and the wait was 30 plus minutes. I advise you to do a call in order if you don’t want to wait. It’s a family owned business, and they are worth giving a chance. We’ll be back for more!

Beautiful owner, her Man fries the to perfection. Small restaurant, so it’s great for a comfortable lunch or dinner, with very pleasant playing in the background. Lots of parking .

Great place to sit and wait for your chicken while it is patiently cooking. The atmosphere was very chill. The young man that took our order was very knowledgeable about a lot of things and he showed us his guitar. He also plays music. But the chicken was amazing and the fries thank you. I forgot to take a picture. Ate while drinking I couldn’t wait They also have $2 special two thighs plus french fries

Chicken & fries are over salted. Chicken has fried feathers still on it so not sure if they don’t bother “cleaning” the chicken first or not. Hard to give an opinion on the customer service as it’s hit or miss. Price is great but you get what you pay for. Nothing special to write home about here. Chicken fried up in flour and ton of salt. I’ll save my money & do it at home or go to a different spot. I still recommend it though if you’ve never tried it. Just personally way too salty & I like salt. Not as much as they use though.

Got the 12 piece all wings deal, comes with fries, bread, pickles, and peppers, and we chose the sweet heat sauce on the side. Always delicious and full sized wings. Order ahead because it’s made to order and takes about 30 minutes.

They cook to order, it takes 25 minutes to cook your chicken but man is the chicken good. It’s a slap your momma good. I would definitely call ahead with your order.
