We decided to try this place on whim since we were in the area visiting the Warbird Park (also a great place to visit).

The food was great. I haf the baja grilled fish tacos with mango salsa and their spicy sauce. Also a personal size banging shrimp nachos.. WOW!!.. our appetizer was the 3 dips and nachos. Sauces were just normal. The wait time is long if your going mid afternoon to dinner time. Could be up to 40 minutes. Service was great. Our waiter was on top of everything. I would go again with the family. Pricing is reasonable. For an app and 5 meals was under $100. Thats a win!

No complaints here! Service was great, we got our food not even 10 minutes into ordering and it was very good and we were very happy! The guacamole was absolutely delicious, as my husband doesn’t like it and actually liked this one!!

Beautiful weather so we enjoyed the outdoor seating area. I had build your own nachos and was not disappointed. The portion was huge. The price was great! The wait staff was very friendly and service was quick.

How can you go to a place with “nacho” in the name and not try their nachos? My wife and I got a shareable size of one of their loaded nachos and they were delicious! She was stuffed and I was content after polishing it off, so it was a very good size for two people. We also tried one of their “bucket” mixed drinks. It’s described as a shareable drink, but the little plastic bucket it came in isn’t very big. It was tasty, but depending on your tolerance you might want to just order it for yourself rather than split it. On the plus side, you get to keep the little bucket for when you head down to the beach later!

On my recent vacation to Myrtle Beach, I took my kids and their friends to Nacho Hippo for dinner. For an appetizer with 5 teenagers, we started off with the Macho Nachos. It has chili, queso, black beans and cheese. It was a big hit. The teens all ordered tacos, and I ate the Carnitas, that I really enjoyed. For dessert, everyone shared the Chocolate Spoon Cake. Nacho Hippo is a nice Mexican restaurant with good food.

Went to try the nachos and drinks here. Definitely would only go back for the drinks and atmosphere/service. The salsa sampler was good. The green salsa has an interesting taste, so the red and mango ended up being my favorite. The pomegranate margarita was great, and my husband got some berry drink that was very delicious. My son enjoyed the wings, and my daughter enjoyed the chicken bites. My husband and I ordered the gringo taco and one of the types of chicken nachos to share. I was highly surprised to find out the price for 1 taco was $5, and it wasn’t even a very large taco. Needless to say, I did not share the taco with my husband. The nachos were just okay. Would go here again, just probably would be pickier about my food choices.

Genuinely some of the crappiest food I have ever eaten at a restaurant. Our server was fantastic. The food was also clearly prepared to the best of their ability. This was not through lack of effort or presentation. If you want mediocre nachos and bad margaritas this is the place to go. The restaurant has an old school TGI Fridays vibe. I would really encourage you to avoid.
