The drive there was nice but I wouldn’t drive it at night. It’s out of the way secluded but once there the scenery was amazing. The fry fish was good but had more breading than fish. My husband ordered the grilled Cajun catfish and that was really good. Great flavor. The fries are homemade. Friendly service. Will definitely go again

So worth the drive! First time to visit today and it did not disappoint. Beautiful location. The staff was very friendly. Let’s talk about the food though…. Catfish was amazing. Very fresh tasting. Hush puppies were light and crispy. None of the fried foods had a greasy taste. The tomato relish 100%! It was something I’d never tasted before and oh my it is so tasty! Saved room for a peach fried pie. It came out hot, tender crust and delicious peach filling. Thank you for the great meal.

My family enjoyed catfish a lot. I am not a fish eater, so I had chicken strips, and they were very good as well. The portions are great. Our waitress was very sweet and always on top of things. The building is quaint, and the views are beautiful. I highly recommend it.

A little hard to get to, but the food is great! Cat fish is outstanding. Also the hush poppies and Wanda’s fried pies were a hit at our table. Overall, it was worth a 3 hour ride for us. Would come back again in a heartbeat

All the fried catfish, French fries, and fixings you can eat. Very old restaurant with lots of history. Just ask about it or read the articles and pics on the walls. Screened in patio looks out over the Red River. Casual dining out in the country!

Didn’t realize until I saw the menu, this was farm raised catfish. The filets were small and very thin, cooked to where the meat was crispy instead off flakey. Won’t be back.
