If you are from Memphis, then you know about Tops. It is our local chain BBQ restauraunt. Known for their “Chopped” pork BBQ sandwhich. Every other restaurant in this city does a “pulled” pork sandwhich. It is an amazing sandwhich and quick. Like any true southerner, make sure you get slaw on the sandwhich. The unsung hero at Tops is the cheeseburger though. It is consistent and soooo good. Pictured is the double cheeseburger, BBBq baked beans and crinkle cut fries. Go check them out.

I get off work at 8pm… really hungry, looking forward to sitting down to a half slab of ribs, arrive at 8:20pm, and, I’m told I can’t eat in the lobby. What’s with closing before 10pm!? Even if you close at 9pm, you could allow your regular customers a place to enjoy food especially after wasting all that money to update/cover a small outdoor area as of late.

VERY POOR EXPERIENCE. I checked my bag and noticed I had all the things I ordered. However, once I got home, realized that my regular shoulder sandwich was NOTHING but fat meat. I had no meat on my sandwich and neither did my partner. You come to places and spend over $20 you’re expecting to get some decent food. I wasted my money and time. There are over five people in the store just standing around while I am in the driveway waiting for my orderand the car behind me got served their food before I got served mine and then they left off the jalepenos they charged me a whole dollar Extra for. Took 15mins after payment to get my single burgers and nachos. There wasn’t a single customer there when we arrived. Should have chose the OTHER TOPS ON SUMMER. Also the burgers were cold!!! And not the usual delectable burgers they normally are. If I could give 0 stars I would.
