As a Chicago native, it gives that home feeling and that little taste of Chicago. From the food menu to the Chicago flag and multiple arcade games it’s a very laid back atmosphere and you can really relax and enjoy the time. A great place to start your pregame or just have a couple drinks. The owner and his staff run a very tight ship and are always welcoming.

Friends and I hang out at Nighthawk for Pau Hana every other Wednesday (and sometimes other days too). We go there for the pupus and the music (80s). The Owner and his staff are very friendly and laid back. We create our own little dance floor, dance and have fun.

After 6 days of Asian food, my wife needed a break and the Nighthawk definitely did not disappoint! The Italian beef was perfect, the bread was chewy yet spongy enough to hold all the juice, the Maxwell chicago dawg was hittin and the cheese curds, cooked to perfection was fire. Appreciate this local spot Honolulu, you’ve been blessed with the Nighthawk.. appreciate you Eddie!

All in all this place is too busy for the amount of staff it has. There is no way to keep things organized. I waited more than 30 minutes for an order of wings, which should be cake to a bar scene. No method of identifying me and my order was handed to me. I had to wait at the bar another 20 mins to be recognized and express the issue I had. I wouldn’t recommend it on a busy night bc service is slow and sloppy. Maybe during the wk with fewer ppl but a Friday night, they were ill prepared for the volume of ppl. A more efficient kitchen and order process is necessary if you want to keep ppl drinking.
