This sports bar has a nice restaurant and is on top of a hill! Good food and good service. The waitress was great. The chili cheese hotdogs were very good. They even toasted the hotdog buns. Clean restaurant and lots parking. There is an outdoor patio too.

Quick service and friendly staff. My group did a pick three of mozzarella sticks, mac and cheese bites, and onion rings. It felt like they were brought out almost instantly which was great because we were hungry. I ordered the hillside burger and ended up taking half of my plate home to eat later because it was so big! It was great. The only critique is to know most of their bread is buttered heavily for all of their burgers. I’m sure if you asked they would leave it off for you if you have a more sensitive stomach!

The staff and their ability to respond to a large groups needs was easily stressed. I will say that every served dish was done with care and made perfectly as possible. I have enjoyed everything I have been served and this small place deserves to be in the top of the list for fine dining in the tri-state area!

We went to Hillside Sports Bar & Grill for breakfast this morning and hidden under the cheese on my hash browns was something black. I’m assuming it came from the grill they cooked them on. And I know what your going to say “they look burnt”. They absolutely were not burnt. They were barely even crispy. We’ve always had good food here but this was very disappointing.

The best I’ve had in Monticello, my only regret is not trying it sooner. Online ordering works fantastic and the food was ready when promised. I had the Ruben, my wife had a Philly, and my mom got the bacon cheeseburger, all delicious, and the fries… oh the fries! So good!

We usually get really good service when we order from Hillside. This time was not the case. I was told 20 minutes for my take out order and as I still stand here waiting for it to be ready it’s been over 35 minutes. I understand being short staffed but there are only about 5 tables and 4 people sitting at the bar. All of whom have already eaten. Did she forget to put my order in? Probably since I only ordered fried food which doesn’t take long to make. Over 45 minutes and I am finally walking out with my food.
