Great owner and workers. Love the small sports bar and restaurant vibe. Good size portions for the price, however I personally didn’t like the ribs and the brisket was chewy, but the Mac and cheese was on point. The fried pickles, with the hint of spice to it….on point.

This is a newly opened business, and I decided to give it a try for an early lunch. It was not very busy, so I had no trouble parking or being seated. It’s clean and still looks brand new inside.

So, my wife and I tried this place out today. They weren’t busy (three to four groups in the 2 o’clock hour). The interior of the restaurant is spacious with either bar seating, tall tables, or regular tables. The seats for the tall table are a bit less than comfortable. There is a patio equipped with several tables, freestanding heaters, and fans for whatever weather. There is an actual bar inside, but I cannot speak on quality or pricing for their alcohol. Numerous televisions throughout the place.

Had a great lunch today here with the kids. The brisket macaroni was awesome. All my kids wanted more. Good atmosphere and great outdoor seating. We will definitely be back.

Had the 2 meat dinner with Jalepeno sausage and brisket. Sausage was amazing and the brisket had good flavor but was a little dry. The burnt ends were awesome.

The food here is delicious! We have been here twice now and both times enjoyed our meals. The ribs are my personal favorite. The staff is very friendly. We had been running around all day with family visiting from out of town and our daughter didn’t get a nap so she was an angry elf. A waitress was so sweet and brought her out a snack to help tide her over. They were all so sweet and understanding. Definitely recommend the food and the service is great!

The restaurant is in a good location in Hewitt, Tx with ample parking. The food was very good. I had the one meat plate with pulled pork. The meat was tender and tasted great but the dill potato salad wasn’t that great and the seasoning on the green beans was OK. The sodas were $3 but they are served in a big cup so that was good.

I had the 2 meat plate It was expensive and not smoked one bit. You could smell the smoke in the restaurant but no smoke flavor in the food. Tiny glasses and non-cash fee even though I used cash were more negatives. I won’t be back.

My husband loved the ribs because they were seasoned like a rub instead of fatty like many places. I liked that I had the option for leaner brisket lol. It really had only a drop of grease left on my plate. Macaroni was good and flavorful. The sriracha coleslaw was different but a little too hot for our style. All in all was good. Also, our server didn’t know how to get us on wifi. Signs on the window and door said Wifi but…? It was not bad at all. Our faves were lean brisket and ribs!

The barbecue itself was really good. Nice size portions on a two meat plate. Brisket and ribs were tender and meaty. The sides, not so good. I got potato salad which tasted store bought and the beans that were hard and had no flavor.
