Great first experience! Small place but tasty. Had a beef tongue and a beef “head” taco and side of beans. Classic taco( tortilla, meat, onion and cilantro) ….perfect !

So here is another place to avoid in the Sanford area. I have been a few times, only ever had small issue over prices for items on the menu as one price and being asked to pay another. I always order water, it’s what I drink, mostly. Today now I see a charge for cheese, but didn’t get anything with cheese on it. When I asked the owner about the charge, he says it’s for water and shows me on the menu agua fresco at $3.50. I said I didn’t order that though, he said, “I don’t need your business” say what???

First, the restaurant is well decorated, clean, and has outdoor seating. This is not a typical unlimited chips and salsa place, you order your food and enjoy. Service was prompt and friendly. So the food: amazing. I have resorted to making Mexican food at home, because I haven’t found a restaurant that can do it justice. This place is it. I ordered entirely too much, and found my plates clean anyway. I started with 2 tacos, Lengua and chorizo. I’ve never tried Lengua and it was a treat. They came with choice of sauce and sliced radishes. I also ordered the enchiladas roja, which came with rice and beans on the side. Also ordered a side of pico. The enchiladas were not swimming in tomato sauce, thank goodness. I picked up on a hint of adobo and they were garnished beautifully. The pico was fresh and delicious. And if y’all don’t know what Love is, those refried beans will let you know with the first bite. Many thanks to the owners, keep up the excellent work and we will see you again soon!

Great place in a sleepy little town where you would last expected. Very authentic tacos with unique selections such as cow tongue, tripe amongst the more regular ones. I had the fajitas with shrimp with some of the tastiest fajitas that I’ve ever had everything was super fresh. If I pass through this town again this is grandma coming for lunch or dinner. Get here early, because the place is small.

Best guacamole in town! So good! We were able to get tacos for two, pupusas for two and guacamole and it was around $20. Great place for a date night! Staff was super nice, food was amazing! Highly recommend. I plan on going back!
