A place where they are waiting for you, a place where adults and children will not be sad. Parents can eat in peace while the children play on the playground. The burgers are unsurpassed, the salad portions are huge and delicious. We will definitely come back more than once.

Searched for a “burger joint” where we could also grab a beer. Burger Shack has a nice, laid back vibe that is perfect for families (playground) as well as all ages (miniature golf and corn hole.)

Were told the wait was 45 min upon arriving without a reservation. Gave our number and got a text 10 min later saying our table was ready. Feels like you’re eating outdoors with shade from a gazebo. Very sweet two story playground is fenced in, with only entrance to playground is through the restaurant. Feels safe to let the kids climb while you have a drink or chat before your food comes. Playground is easily seen from your seat. Wish more places were like this. Attached to mini golf and ice cream parlor. Bathrooms are by the mini golf. Burger Shack has a bar and regular tables. Also has a fenced in cornhole area. Wheelchair friendly as there are ramps to playground and bathrooms.

This place was great for a quick dinner on a rainy day of our vacation. This was recommended by our hotel & I am so glad we stopped. The Jersey burger was amazing, crispy salty fries were great! They have a playground & corn hole lawns for kids to play on. It was probably the highlight of the trip for my 3 year old. We were immediately sat & food came out in about 15/20 minutes. Highly recommend!

Great service, nice ambience. 2 for 1 Dinner Special (Jersey Burger) and 2 for 1 draft beer(Stella or TQB Chancellor). Great value. Close to the beach. Our server, Malerie, was great, attentive and made great recommendations. I’ll be back.

A friend recommended us this burger joint. I like that it has a playground for the kids and mini golf. As for the food, it was decent. Very typical burgers and fries nothing crazy about it. The burgers were bland with all the toppings on it made it taste a little better. Got one of their milkshakes, they were big but not worth $11. The mozzarella sticks were tasty. Prices are reasonable.

We’ve been here about two years ago and no issues. Today we drove 1 1/2 hours to celebrate a birthday for a family member. The moment we walked in, we were carrying two birthday cakes. We asked our server if she could help us keep the cakes cool while we ate. She replied “we don’t do that we don’t have room in our freezer” I said that’s fine, can you place them under the counter to keep them out of the sun. She said, “I guess”. My mother asked the server if they made mixed drinks. The server said “beer and wine only”. My mother then asked if they could make a Mimosa, to which the server repeated herself more forcefully, “beer and wine only”. A culmination of things made us very uncomfortable. The wait/server staff made us feel as if we were battered spouses and had to walk on eggshells. We were even joking at our table about being at the themed restaurant “Karen’s” where the wait staff is rude to you on purpose. At one point, while eating our meals, we noticed the same waitress yelling at another family over the balcony that faced the parking lot. I can’t say anything negative about the food. It just seemed like the entire staff with the exclusion of the two buss boys who were more than personable and pleasant, “woke up on the wrong side of the bed”. It did not seem as if the wait/server staff had any interest in being there.
