It was a Sunny Saturday Morning, we wanted a quick breakfast and heard this place has some of the best biscuits in NC. We were not disappointed. Upon entry I felt like I was going to a bluestone sandwich shop. Nice beach yacht theme with a small set up. We ordered the friend chicken biscuits and some gravy.

Picked up lunch here today with the family and highly recommend! The crack pie is MUST! We had a wide variety of biscuits and they were all phenomenal. Met the owner and she’s absolutely wonderful. Extremely friendly and helpful. Everything is homemade and delicious. Certainly the type of establishment that I’d love to give plenty of business to. So glad to have found this gem! Highly recommend!!!

Visited with my family for breakfast and the biscuits are AMAZING!! Bacon and cheddar was my choice and it surpassed my expectations. The atmosphere is so cute and welcoming. The staff were very polite and accommodating. Will definitely return on our next visit to Carolina Beach!

I was born and raised in the South and these scratch made biscuits are absolutely amazing. The various biscuit sandwiches they’ve created are unique and beyond delicious. They have a brisket/coleslaw biscuit that is to die for! I was visiting Carolina Beach and out of the 5 days I stayed, my wife and I stopped in on 4 separate occasions. On my last day I grabbed one last brisket biscuit, 4 plain biscuits to bring home for my daughters to try and a key lime pie (also amazing – they have a large selection of baked goods). They’re personable, friendly and everyone had a smile on their face. They also support local NC farmers which is a huge plus. Nikki and her wife have created something magical at this place. I can’t recommend them enough. I never write reviews but was compelled to take the time to support this business. I visited as a stranger and on my last day I left, I hope, as a friend. This local small business deserves nothing but 5 stars, I wish I could give them 100. I will visit The Southerly Biscuit & Pie every single time I return to the area. Nikki, thank you, you’re amazing (and so is everyone else)! If you’re ever willing, I’d love nothing more than to get ahold of your brisket recipe, it’s some of the best brisket I’ve ever had (and I make a mean brisket myself):)

Good big fill you up biscuits. Scratch made and delicious. This is not a dine in or sit down establishment. I recommend placing your ahead of time online so you can avoid the wait time. But these biscuits are definitely worth the wait. This was our first visit and won’t be our last. Give this place a try

I got the biscuit and gravy and no where on the menu did it say this was vegan gravy. I had to look at reviews on here to see if I was going crazy. It’s got a weird texture and flavor and I would have ordered something different if I knew beforehand.
