My hubby and I love this place!! A reservation is recommended for North Beacon Oyster restaurant! However, they were to accommodating to our last-minute reservation! It’s a true gem!!! The waitress was AMAZING and quite knowledgeable!!!! Everything we ordered was wonderful!! We will definitely visit North Beacon Oyster restaurant when we are back in Rockport, Maine!

We had a big oyster plater (2ppl size option one) loaded fires and crab toast. Ordered a beer and a mocktail. Price came out to be around 50+ per person after tax and tip. So I would say it’s a bit on the expensive but still worth it! The oyster and everything on the plater is super fresh and delicious. Everything was perfect! Would recommend and go back again if I ever visit the town again

We got North Beacon Oyster’s fish chowder and three of every oyster. They were possibly the best oysters we’ve ever had. The chowder had a vibe of its own, a slight sweet taste, which I would have never of expected to work, but it really worked. The place was crowded but service was fast with a really fun New England vibe.

I love coming to North Beacon. It’s one of my top favorite restaurants, probably even my #1. The food is amazing, the service is great, and I love the atmosphere. I’ve never had a bad experience. Whether you want a drink at the bar or a nice dinner evening out, think about coming here. I’ve tried just about everything on the menu, and almost everything is my favorite. Be sure to call ahead and make reservations during the busy season. The bar is first come, first serve. You’re missing out if you don’t make NBO a stop on your itinerary

This place is completely overpriced for what it is. Oysters and beers were good. But that’s not from the kitchen. The fish in the 27usd fish and chips was not crusty, the crust was not even cooked enough. The tartar sauce was not home made (shame for the price !?!), and the fries were too thin, overcooked and too salty. Bacon in the crab burger was completely overcooked and thus tasteless even though this was supposed to be an important thing to go along with the crab.

Absolutely amazing food!!! The fried chicken sandwich is phenomenal, and the burger, steak frites, crab toast are excellent! Their specials are always changing and intriguing, and it’s great to have a place with a varied selection of oysters on the half shell. The only room for improvement lies in the service time… they often only have one waitress to manage the dining room, and one bartender. Of course, these days it is very difficult to find staff who want to work and will show up, so getting more help out front is no easy task. Longer than usual service times are only an issue if the dining room is absolutely full. I plan to keep coming back here frequently!!
