I ordered the New York steak and cheddar mashed potatoes. The steak was delicious and cooked perfectly – tender and juicy. My husband ordered the bison short ribs and it was also delicious. I tried one bite and the meat was flavorful and fell right off the bone. We ordered the chocolate mousse and that was really good as well. It was creamy, chocolaty and not too sweet. The service was solid and we were not rushed at all.

The Arctic Char was excellent last night, and the side vegetable mixed zucchini and buttermilk mashers also were very good. My friend had a beautiful Prime Rib. We also loved the 1/2 off entree special, could not believe the deal for such a first rate dinner. Bar in back has huge food selection and great bartender.

We couldn’t have been more disappointed. They sat us upstairs and we about froze. The service was horrible. We had to send our steaks back due to being so under cooked. The meal cost us almost 400.00 for 6 of us. I called the owner to tell him about our experience and he said it was too bad. Never would go back.

Decent food for pre bagged, frozen products. A good burger but nothing to write home about, nothing that would make it stand out next to a burger from a chain restaurant. Consider yourself warned though that this establishment is very “senior friendly”. If you want to enjoy an evening in the most elegant Denny’s ever, this is your place. There are dozens of other places I will recommend before Blue Spruce. Just go on ahead and skip it.

Ate there last night. Very poor experience for the price. Uncomfortable. Food was, at best, fair. Service less than fair. I’ve seen good reviews for the place here. I suspect they’re from the owner’s family members. Go to Pug Ryan’s in Dillon instead, if you can. Better food, better atmosphere.

Historic building with many separated dining areas. Nice atmosphere but lighting needs to be updated. Service was good. Steaks- one excellent the other so so quality.

This place used to be FABULOUS! No longer….maybe if management cared just a LITTLE bit….our server was STONED and make several jokes about it to our table. She did not use a note pad, forgot our appetizers, brought all of the wrong side dishes and we had to ask for tea 5 times. They told us there was no manager on duty and we were stuck with our waitress! After complaining, she comped our appetizer that came out after the meal and gave us apple pie! WOW! What a gal…..We called the next day and the manger said he had had problems with her in the past “I don’t know what she is on”. When we got to the owner, he told my husband he never had a problem with her…too bad so sad. When you are spending $200 on dinner, this is NUTS! Maybe Blue Spruce should invest in a few drug testing kits from Walgreens!!
