I’ve been coming here over the years and really do love this place. Their breakfast sandwiches are freaking delicious and the yolk is perfectly runny without being undercooked. The staff are always really friendly too. If you’re in the area/ like supporting small businesses, definitely worth giving this a try.

The Flying Yolk is a small but ramped up breakfast spot in the heart of Simi Valley. If you are looking for an independent, non-commercial type of place to enjoy a satisfying breakfast, this is the spot. They have many breakfast options to go with no matter how big an appetite you are carrying with you. The Dani Burger is a favorite of many. I usually go with the protein bowl myself. If you don’t desire to eat in, they also do take out and delivery if so desired. The Yolk is definitely worth the price Of admission.

This place was absolutely delicious! It was so good we went two mornings and would have gone again if we could have! The croissant French toast was delicious. I love breakfast burritos though and this was a very good one. Also the hot sauce was so good I bought some for home! Even the yogurt was really good. If you want an excellent breakfast come to The Flying Yolk!!!

The flying yolk is a small breakfast and lunch eatery. It’s a hidden gem in Simi valley. There is limited seating and you order at the counter. They offer a variety of breakfast items and burgers. Even vegetarian options and a limited kids menu. Any item can be made into a combo which includes a drink and tots or fruit. The tots were good and we enjoyed our breakfast sandwiches on the brioche bread. First time here and we would definitely like to return.

Had brunch here this morning and we loved it. Great quality food and delicious! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful getting a high chair for us. This will be our new favorite hot spot. We’ve been to a bunch of new restaurants in the area since we moved here and this place is the first place that gave us the “wow” factor. Highly recommend.

I ordered the Maple fried Burger. Flavor wise, it was very good, however, the Burger Patty was overcooked and dried out. Which led to a not so pleasing bite even though the flavors with the Maple syrup and the egg were all there.

The Flying Yolk is a new feeling, counter order with breakfast sandwiches on croissants and brioche and breakfast burritos. Seating is a little limited when we were there on a Sunday late morning (granted that’s prime brunch time!) And in general we thought the food was good.
