As a previous long-time resident of St. Louis, I had forgotten about prior favorite pizza places in St. Louis. In town this week for a family visit, and someone suggested Massa’s in Town and Country. My prior visits years ago were at the Bridgeton location “The Old Place.” All the family now lives in St. Chas County, so Massa’s Town and Country was closest. Walking in the door, memories came flooding back! The place even smells great! The Italian salad was served in an ice cold bowl, the house dressing delicious, the “small” was HUGE! We tried a chicken and black olive pizza, the “The Tony” = sausage, bacon, onions and tomatoes. Both pizzas were great, perfect St. Louis-style thin crust, cooked perfectly, with a creamy blend of mozzarella and provolone cheeses. Clearly still on top of their game at Massa’s. I’ll be back more often!

Food is above average. Not the best Italian I’ve ever had, but far from the worst.

Been there several times. Wonderful food and great service. Great takeout experience as well. The food has consistently been ready when they said it would. The BBQ chicken pizza is excellent as well the Town and Country paninni. The decor is a little over the top but definitely interesting and anything but vanilla. You need to experience it.

Solid blackened chicken sandwich and good broccoli salad. Just the right amount of bacon and raisins. Service was prompt and courteous, and we got in and out I’m fairly quick time. Not a super fast lunch but a good chance to sit and decompress without feeling like we had to rush. Restaurant is kept nice and cool so be sure to bring a jacket if you prefer warmer rooms but it’s nice when it’s hot out.

The decor is great and the staff work really hard (and are clearly short handed). The food, on the other hand, is just ok. Chicken picatta is drowned in sauce and the tutte mare doesn’t have the best quality fish. Presentation is really nice though.

Good food, great service. One suggestion: The specialty pizza I ordered was just absolutely loaded with toppings. It was a comical amount. Maybe like 30% less toppings and also clean out the oven so less charcoal cheese/other stuff stuck to the bottom and its perfect.

We had a party of 10 people. Came in at 5:00pm ( the restaurant opens at 4:00). It was awfully hot. The food came in all burned, dry and too salty. Some orders of Italian potatoes were missing bc as they said they were out. The bread and butter came with entries.

Salad was good . Pizza was good except the green peppers were raw. The tortellini was not cooked and the sauce was runny. We will not be back and would not recommend this place to anyone. They did not even offer us a discount after we told them everything that was wrong. My wife did not eat any of her food. It was that BAD. Everyone working there looked unprofessional except our waitress. This place was horrible.

I ordered the Tony’s Burger and it was huge. Cooked perfectly except for the egg on top. I asked for a runny yolk and got a hard cooked egg. Still good though. Wife got bacon cheeseburger. Very good. Coffee was good. Tea was strong. Will go back.

Really good food I had the lasagna, the sauce was incredible and the cheese and meat where cooked amazingly. My only complaint the inside is a little dark, other than that 5 out of 5
