Soooo good. Love how they bring the guacamole table over and make it right there in front of you so you can ask for no onions etc. Shrimp fajitas and the sangria margarita was amazing! I was scared it would be too much food but it was just right. Would definitely come back again!!

The plates meal was bland, no taste, no spices. Burrito shell soggy. Chalupa chicken was bad. Service and atmosphere nice but doubt we’ll go back. Order came in 5 minutes so it was premade and certainly not cooked to order.

First we waited 10 minutes to get chips & salsa and we’re charged when we ask for more! Who does that? No other Mexican restaurant. The food was very bland especially the refried beans. We had to get our own silverware after asking for it twice. We will not be back! There are too many good restaurants available!

I’m been coming to el toro for about a year Cuzz I’m a Mexican food lover, the food it’s just amazing, they got different plates whit different kind of meets (pork, steak, ground beef, shrimps, grill chicken, shredded chicken, shredded beef, swai) so u can pick between a bunch of alternatives, bout alcohol I recommend u the margarita texana perfect match among sweetness, lime and the tequila taste, then if money isn’t a problem go ahead and ask for a patron margarita whit grand Marnier

We absolutely love it here. Literally some of the best tasting food in SW Florida and they made sure the neighborhood had food to eat after hurricane Ian. We have everyone who visits us eat here and they love it just like we do. Great authentic flavors. Anyone who claims anything different is simply not being honest imo. 20% gratuity for groups? Heck yes, the service is great and they deserve at least that much. If you see some of those entitled, whiny complainer reviews, well, I’ll let you decide why they’re being so negative. Just come eat here. Regularly. You’ll love it.

We decided to try out this restaurant based off of their Instagram post which has videos showing awesome food. Unfortunately that was not the experience we had. The food was pretty bland which is unusual for a Mexican restaurant. The food came out in about 5 minutes so there’s no way it’s fresh, which makes sense because my rice seemed like it was days old. The silverware was not very clean also. The service was decent but really lacked on refills even just for water. We probably wouldn’t return solely just cause the food isn’t worth it.
