So we decided to try something new and different tonight for dinner. Our choice the Lakehouse Tavern is a place we drove by many times but never stopped. This place always appears to be very busy and signs at the door say they take resevations.

An obvious local favorite… dinner guests greeted one another as they walked up , expressed surprise that each would be there the same night. Every single person that walked up knew each other, as names were called the group separated into different areas.

First timers here at the Lakehouse Tavern. It was on my list of places to try for quite some time and we happened to be in the area. Upon our visit it was not too busy. We waited a few minutes for a table to be prepared and we went upstairs to dine. Upstairs there was only one other table seated inside and one table seated outside. Our food was fresh and had great taste but we did wait probably an hour and total visit was close to 2 hours. We didn’t mind the wait at all and its super understanding. We would love to come back again in the future and try something new.

So disappointing! Had the worst steak in my life. Very poor cut. Very fatty. First one was overcooked. Sent it back. Second was cooked medium rare but just as poor. So surprised as I have had good meals there before. Manager didn’t even take the meal off the bill. Our Server was great but will not go back again to eat.

Apps & soup were great. Both entrees were pretty good but may have lacked a bit of the seasoning and sear you would expect. Drinks were delicious & we enjoyed being able to sit outside on a nice late summer evening. Great atmosphere & service.

It was okay. Food was good but pricey for what it was we ordered. The ambiance was confusing. It had a farm house kind of vibe with the structure and the photos on the wall. But the waitstaff was in tye dye tshirts and shorts. We were seated upstairs and when a waitress had to open the door to the deck, she would use her foot since her hands were full of plates. A little bit unsanitary for anyone who has to touch the handle to open the door after her. There are a lot of things I’d like to try on the menu but I don’t know if I’d go back.

The godfather burger with mozzarella and tomato sauce was delicious. Beautiful views of the nearby lake as well, even in the winter

Had a great lunch at the Lakehouse Tavern. Food is great, atmosphere is great, service is top notch. I will say call ahead and make a reservation because it is busy, Also parking can be a little tight. Overall great experience every time.

The food was good. Service was slow. It took more than ten minutes for someone to come to our table. Except for the parking lot in the foreground, the view from the outdoor de k is sublime.
