My husband and I went on Friday May 31 2013. We ordered 6 rolls and specifically told the waitress that the order was to have no sesame seeds due to my husband’s severe allergic reaction to them. Looking back, the first problem was that the waitress did not write our order down but rather relayed it the sushi chef by memory. When our platter of rolls arrived, it was large and beautiful but unfortunately covered with sesame seeds. The waitress had forgotten to relay the most crucial part of the order. She apologized profusely and sent it back. We could see the chef from our table and he was visibly angry at us (glaring) even though the waitress insisted he was not. When our re-order arrived after 30-45 minutes, the rolls were noticeably smaller and the chef had “replaced” the eel in one roll with crab sticks which is a far less expensive meat. When I pointed this out, the waitress had him make the correct roll to “go.” I guess the chef must have thought we were dumb Alabama hicks that did not know the difference between eel and crab. It makes you wonder how many times he had pulled this stunt on other patrons. Great gig–charge eel prices but give crab or some other meat instead!!!! We should have got up and left at this point but we were starved and ate the rather bland and inferior rolls. We will definitely NOT return to this establishment nor recommend it to any of our friends.

I would give it 6 stars if I could!! Amazing food at an amazing price…but what i love the most, was the grill cook remembered us from months before and joked around with my 3 year old. He had him cracking up. We love this place. Highly recommended for a family night out.

Rice wasn’t great, the Hibachi chef was lame. The sushi was horrible, I never give bad reviews to places but I had to this time. They comp’d most of my meal, but only after telling them I was telling the world about their nasty food. On a positive note the peach long Island was delicious!

I am late on posting this but for 3 years my husband and I spent Christmas Eve at ichiban. Christmas 2014 was the last time you will catch us at this restaurant. We were first to arrive for the grill and then they added 8 more people. Of course my husband was last to be served and ended up with about two tablespoons of rice and one tablespoon of veggies. He ordered shrimp and filet, (the most expensive on the hibachi menu) I know they share shrimp with other diners but since the chef had his back to my husband, when a diner asked for seconds of shrimp they gave him my husbands shrimp and he ended up with 3 shrimp. We went in and got spicy salmon rolls and spicy crab rolls, the crab and the salmon was the same orange consistency that leads me to believe they charged a dollar more for the same sushi roll, they came out way too spicy almost tasted like ranchero and salsa picante sauce, brought out another one to replace them and they was the same after asking for regular salmon rolls instead because of the extreme Mexican style seasoning they used in the sushi roll. The lady got a glass of Moscato that came out and tasted like dry muscadine wine. Terrible experience will not be back or recommend to anyone

Well I have never been there an after what happen to my niece I will never go there. I know accident happens but my niece got burned really bad on her eye. I work in restaurants all of my life and I have never had this happen.the only thing they did was pay for the ticket.they need to do more than this. My niece is 7 year old and it scared her to death. I will make sure something is done about this.

Server seemed to be pushing me out of the table, even though the place was deserted. It felt like me being there was a huge inconvenience for her. Also, their vegetarian options were listed in the menu, but they don’t actually have them.
