Usually they are decent but I will never get an Italian beef from this place. There wasn’t much meat and just dry overall. I got two and they both looked the same.

Went here on a whim. Glad I did . Extremely good hamburgers and French fries. I also had a shake. It only cost 25 for 2 people to eat , normally it cost us 35 to 40 for that basic order. I most definitely will be back here again. Staff was very friendly when taking my order. Nice guy. Thank you!

My wife and I enjoyed turkey and ham super subs. They are delicious and addictive homemade sandwich dressing. Don’t take my word try it yourself

Today we went in for lunch and got a satisfying meal, but it is way over priced for what we got. The gyro plate comes with barely enough meat for both pitas and the butter garlic fries we paid $2.29 extra for barely had any butter and garlic on them. It was an okay meal, but not for the price we paid. Dean’s quality is going down and it’s dissapointing.

Ordered a double cheeseburger with Mayo, ketchup, lettuce, and grilled onion. Received a double hamburger with mustard, ketchup, pickle, and raw onion. Was dining in with my family so brought it back to the counter. The lady brought it to where they make the food and proceeded to start me a new bun and then use the old meat and then melted the cheese by using the microwave. Not only is it bad form to not just remake the burger, it’s also against health code to bring food back into their kitchen once it has been given to people and they have taken it into the wild. I did not accept the chef mike cooked burger. The lady did refund me for the burger at my request and did apologize. Unfortunately it’s one mistake of many over the last few years. We shall not return.

This place has been around a long time. Not mulch else in the area. Gyros are good. I don’t like steamed onions on a gyro. And on occasion the pita bread has a frozen stale taste.

Dean’s is a far south suburban staple! Have been going there since the 80″s. I was disappointed at the Italian combo! More bread than meat. It was like literally like 3 pieces of Italian beef. I asked for hot peppers expecting giardinera and got sport peppers! The turkey sub and Butter and Garlic cheese fries made up for the combo

I have been going to Dean’s for over 30 years. Great old fashioned drive in. Good food…you can watch them prepare your order. Gotta try the butter and garlic fries…the best. Please don’t tell my cardiologist though.
