The food is great they keep fresh food coming. The service,I can only speak on the extremely nice cashier, is exceptional. The Atmosphere to congested for the prices! The prices are ridiculous! They charge for EVERYTHING!!! When I say EVERYTHING I mean EVERYTHING!!!! On to go orders the charge for condiments! NO military discounts! NO senior citizen discounts! They charge for discounts!

I drive trucks and have to maintain my health while on the road. Truckers are plagued with what we call the “truckers gut” because we sit all day while driving so the food we eat piles up in our stomach. So truckers have to worry about their stomach hanging over their belt if they don’t take care of themselves. I keep packs of salmon in my truck fruits whole grain bread and other non fattening items and when I stop at the truck stop this is how I dine. I get creative; a big salad 2 packs of salmon and voila – Dinner is served!

This was one of the smallest Golden Corral’s I have ever been in! It is located inside of a truck stop, so the restaurant was geared for a lot of take out buffet orders. It was a bit hectic when we arrived, with everyone from customers waiting to be seated, to customers trying to weigh their buffet food orders and checkout, to employees assisting. It is a small and tight area, so really it was to be expected and wasn’t a big issue. The buffet was wonderful. One of the best stocked I have seen. ( I used to work in a Golden Corral many years ago, so I know!) Because of it’s smaller location it seemed to be tended to very well. Their selections of food and dessert was in line with other Golden Corrals, but in my opinion it was even better. They had a few things you don’t find at other locations, example being a small sushi bar! The restaurant despite its smaller location was roomy and accommodating and more spread out further into the dining area. Our server was on point and so very friendly! We loved the pit stop overall on our way home with a family of 6 coming off the road, tired and hungry! We stopped there after a two week vacation out of state. The truck stop was pretty cool, and it was nice they had a full service and/or buffet option available with the Golden Corral being here. You could tell it was very comfortable and accommodating to truck drivers and travelers, exactly what it was made for!

Fun experience after a long day at Kings Dominions. What I didn’t expect after arriving was that this Golden Corral is attached to a truck station. Which I wasn’t expecting and made me weary. But as soon as I got inside, the food and customer service was exceptional.

Service was great fryed chicken was cold and dried up like it was reheated a few times . My server was great the frozen yogurt machine only had one flavor working. A lot of the food should have been refilled sooner or older stuff discarded. They have signs above the items which would be great if the item was what the sign said . $22 for a single person is alittle high for what you get …
