So glad this place opened. The last restaurant here was a drag! The halibut and prawns were beautiful and tasty. The cheese fondue was yummy. The blueberry and lemon bread pudding…WOW! Our server was a bit bothersome (kept interrupting us), but I suppose that’s better than ignoring us. Maybe she was just a bit excited. Either way… GIVE THIS PLACE A TRY! Very cozy remodel! I ordered the prime rib sandwich the next day and enjoyed that as well. Not bad!

We had an incredibly delicious meal. The name Brix Tavern is deceiving. It is not taverny at all. I had the pulled pork burger, mate had the roast beef. Both were delicious The hostess wanted to give us poor seating and pushed back when I asked for a good table in front of the lake, but she gave in. There was no need to put us in the back as it was a Monday, which are typically slow days at restaurants.

10/10!! Food was delicious, drinks were amazing, kind and friendly service from the hostess to waitress. We went to celebrate a birthday and were given little donuts and yummy ice cream. We will 100% be back to try the Prime Rib special on Wednesday!

Popped in for some happy hour cocktails on Memorial Day. The happy hour was a nice surprise— also the happy hour “hours” as it were is very confusing. Seriously, check it out. Who could remember those rules? I’d like to come back for actual food sometime.

Bottomless* mimosa brunch! [FYI: You must order the bottomless version & they can only serve them to you while you are actively eating. So, pace yourself! Once you cash out: CUT OFF! So, graze slowly my friends, channel your inner vaca!]

The remodel is amazing and created a destination for any occasion. Location is perfect. We had a private party with the best pulled pork nachos as a starter, followed by steak and chicken with marble potatoes. The staff and management made it a special occasion for our family. Thanks so much. Can’t wait to come back.

Upscale atmosphere and spacious seating dominate this trendy bar with amazing breakfast options. A cool retro vibe with jazz rock on in the air make for a comfortable feel. I started with one of their many breakfast cocktails and ordered the smoked ham skillet. With options including varied Benedict’s, omelettes, steak, shrimp with grits, biscuits and gravy, waffles and fried chicken, there is sure to be something for everyone. Prices are reasonable and service was amazing. I highly recommend this trendy find!

In My Horrible Opinion
We were staying at a nearby hotel so we popped in for dinner. They were very busy but the waiter was friendly, fast & efficient. The other staff refilled our water nearly as soon as we finished ours. Prices are very reasonable. The fried chicken sandwich was good. I got the southwest quinoa salad with chicken & the lemon vinaigrette dressing was the perfect complement.

This was my second time eating at Brix -once for lunch and had a very sweet waitress and then tonight for dinner and had a very COLD waitress who completely ruined the dinner despite the food all tasting good. We eat out a lot and I don’t think I have ever experienced service that makes the whole table feel uncomfortable especially the entirety of the dinner. Not sure if it had anything to do with the fact that we had 4 adults and 2 kids so 18% gratuity was automatically included for parties of 6 or more and didn’t think she needed to give even decent service or just TRY and smile once, but man was that rough dinner.

Great service, terrible ambiance and food. We came for Valentine’s Dinner and the room we sat in felt like an ikea food court. It was extremely quiet and awkward. The food was all bad, nothing was hot. It all all lukewarm and not good. They had a dessert buffet that was so dirty and the fondue chocolate looked inedible. My prime rib was covered in a nasty, salty sauce. I barely ate it. Not worth $65 a person at ALL.
