Excellent quarantine eats. Friendly staff, excellent customer service. Huge portions. Feast of one rack of ribs and 2 sides and corn bread. Everything was freshly made and hot upon arrival. I put the sweet potatoes in the oven with some butter and a few dashes of crown vanilla just to be ‘extra’ but I liked the fact that they were not overcooked to the point that they were mush. Everything was homemade, no canned fillers. I’m not crazy about other peoples corn bread but their cornbread was just fine…not too sweet and not too cake-like…just right. The Mac and cheese was tasty and there were even some of the top browned-golden cheese parts that I like. The rib pan had plenty of sauce and the ribs were well seasoned and perfectly cooked. They were very meaty, there was no excessive fatty portions. Very enjoyable late evening barbecue, and they did all the work and heavy lifting. House smells like I was cooking in the grill. Great local business to support during this quarantine and after.

Went on a day trip to Pittsburgh & wanted something different than the chains. My hubby remembered this place from us living in PA so we stopped & I got a smothered pork chop, 3 wings & mac & cheese and paid $13. The food was good, but their prices are really elevated for the amount of food you get now. They didn’t give bread or anything.
