We were in town for a quick stay at the Suncoast Hotel, and the gentleman at the front desk highly recommended we try this new restaurant that had just opened adjoining the casino area. Wandering over for a quick look we were intrigued by the modern, tasteful and elegant decor (no gaudy attempts to replicate an “imperial palace” look here). What’s more, the menu looked promising with offerings that were catered to Chinese palates.

I had the jjampong. It tasted as if someone made jjampong, dumped out the soup, added hot water and left the noodles and seafood in. Bland is an understatement. The noodles were also incorrect as jjampong doesn’t have completely overcooked ramen noodles but thicker almost lo mein style noodles. As a half Korean it seemed like the food was dumbed down for a non Asian palate. I’ll never eat here again. The photos are of what I ordered and what was left.

Taste of Asia grand opening was wonderful. We took a larger party and we had a great time.. Every dish we were served was delicious. The Mongolian chicken was amazing. The hot and sour soup was incredible. Really all the dishes we had were very good.. Great value for amazing dishes.. looking forward to coming back soon.

Service was outstanding. Server and host were very nice and attentive. The food was just OK, nothing special. No fortune cookies after the meal was also a bummer. Food was not bad, but wont go back. It was like Panda Express quality food for a higher price.

Outstanding! Visited this restaurant last night and was thrilled to find Suncoast hit a home run with this addition! We had Mongolian beef, Orange Chicken, Shrimp and soft noodles, and the Chicken lettuce wraps. Each dish was skillfully prepared and presented, and each was delicious. Though much smaller and more casual, the food was on par with Ondori at the Orleans.

We were rushed beyond belief. Friday night 7pm, not very crowded. All food brought out at one time, soup, appetizer, main course. Food got cold before we could get to it. Bill brought to us before we finished entree. Server says “take your time no hurry”. Really, no hurry? Nothing could be further from the truth and we told them so. We never even got to order dessert. Will never go back.
