I went to Breakfast Buzz this week & it was as if I took a step back in time to my high school/early college days (which were over a decade ago). I was greeted by a wonderful, personable waitress. She was for sure one of the best waitresses I’ve ever had. Very genuine.

The buzz burrito is really good and tasty. I should have asked for the bacon on the side because it was kind of hard to find. The salsa is terrific and you should ask for a second serving which I did. Salsa is mild to medium hot. Staff is friendly and place is clean. Parking in back for a good many cars. Seating inside with two tables three benches three at the counter. There is a lot of seating outside. Order at the counter and they’ll bring it to you. Lost one star for lack of bacon in my opinion.

I’m surprised this place doesn’t have higher ratings. I came here a year ago and had the biggest and best breakfast burrito I have ever had. Today I came back and the burrito wasn’t as big but it was still as delicious. Definitely a must try for breakfast in SLO. 4.9/5.

Great breakfast spot! I have gone here many times over the past 20 years since I was a student at Cal Poly and it never disappoints! I usually get the Buzz Burrito with chorizo, it is very filling and I could barely finish it! You could even share that with a friend.

Small place, so plan on possibly waiting. It’s worth the wait for sure. Big portions of food, warm environment. The staff was friendly and smiling . Family environment was a good menu. If you’re driving thru SLO, make this a stop for breakfast.
