I went to Milo’s and ordered a cheese burger. The total was $5.63 for one cheese burger. This was my first time going and I had always heard good things about their burgers so I was looking forward to it. Needless to say, it was a HUGE disappointment. Nothing special at all. The burger that I received looked like it belonged on a dollar menu. The bun was not toasted or anything. It is not even comparable to McDonald’s $1.79 cheese burger. Even the McDonald’s cheese burger comes with a toasted bun. First and last time ever going to Milo’s.

It’s a burger joint not fine cuisine. They did a fine job and you could tell the employees had there act together. The burger was over the top messy. Possible that’s by design I haven’t eaten here enough to know and probably won’t visit often enough to find out. The tea was amazing.

Need to get better employees. Apparently they can’t follow basic directions. Apparently light mayo and ketchup means milos original sauce. And Apparently they give you a double cheese burger when you ask for a double thick burger. They charged me for it but gave me the wrong stuff on every sandwich

I used to love going to milos in Tuscaloosa but the last few times I went they been serving cold food. Why I don’t understand when they only have no more than 3 cars they need to take a example of the chick Fila next door then maybe there business will pick up, courtesy and hot food is a plus!!!

So if you’re new to Alabama, two things you need to know if you’re going to Milo’s- 1) YOU MUST GET MILO’S SWEET TEA and 2) when you go there to order a burger, understand it is NOT going to be the usual hamburger you are accustomed to. A Milo’s Hamburger/Cheeseburger is bun, meat patty (and also another small piece of meat that they add, it’s a signature “thing” I guess), onions, “Milo’s Sauce” and that’s it unless you added cheese. The Milo’s Sauce is what makes the sandwich so tasty imo. It is not overly spicy or hot, it is somewhat sweet and is very savory. IT IS SO GOOD! And back to the Sweet Tea! Milo’s is known for it so much so that it is sold in grocery stores and convenience stores by the gallon or I believe it comes in 12 oz bottles. *This location has always been quick and friendly, and the food has been great quality.
