Not your average Chinese restaurant. Its really good Asian food. I can’t get away from the seasam chicken, some of the best I’ve had in Asheville/Black Mountain. The food is not over fried or over sauced. The chicken taste like chicken. The vegetables are not overcooked or mushy. I like my broccoli with a little crisp still in it.

Lucky Bamboo offers Great food, clean and well lit, friendly service, and reasonable prices. I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve eaten there but am especially fond of the Tomato Salmon with Brown Rice. The restaurant is well appointed with a relaxed atmosphere. Plenty of natural light which is a big plus in my book. The menu offers a very wide variety of dishes of all types. I highly recommend Lucky Bamboo.

By far this is the best Asian restaurant in the Asheville area. I usually order dishes that most would refer to as Chinese food, such as General Tso and sesame chicken with fried rice. The quality tastes so much better than most Chinese restaurants I’ve tried. You can just tell the food and ingredients are healthier, and they do not use MSG. The servers are so friendly, their prices are very reasonable, and they also have free Wi-Fi.
