I was walking around DC and I looked up Black Owned Restaurants and this one came up. Not sure if it’s actually black owned but that’s okay cuz the food and service was good. I didn’t realize it was apart of the hotel. Really nice aesthetic on the inside. Very warm and inviting as I was greeted by the hostess. I sat by the bar and the bartender gave me the menu and made suggestions of what I should get. I trusted his judgment and got the Chefs Special which was roughly $42. I got the mimosa, which was not bottomless, got the Buttermilk Chicken and Waffles plus the house made blueberry bread. Everything tasted amazing. The mimosas was a really tall glass so I definitely felt he buzz, bartender out a splash of OJ in it so that was appreciated. Chicken and waffles were seasoned through and through while the waffle was soft and fluffy on the inside with a nice crisp. And the blueberry bread was simply amazing. I strongly recommend the blueberry bread. Definitely a spot to check out in DC.

Easily one of my favorite places. Took my dog to the patio, and had amazing food, great service, and good vibes. Loved it so much went 2 nights in a row. It’s a must try spot! Angel took care of us and he is the best service staff ever.

Such a cool spot and food was delicious! We didn’t get brunch but the lunch menu was excellent. Mimosas were perfect and music was fun.

Good food with very artsy interiors. Outdoor seating is nice. Service is very slow. Our food came almost 30 minutes after we ordered. Not many vegetarian lunch options, but they do have few brunch type entrees. Located very close to attractions.

The food here was extremely good, I had pancakes and I very much enjoyed them! My only issue was that we ordered coffee, only to be told that the coffee machine wasn’t actually working. Overall this place is nice.

SOOO TASTY!!! There quite a variety of foods – it’s hard to categorize the type of food… but everything we had was SO GOOD! The spring fever drink was AMAAAAZING! The steak was so yummy! The brunch was especially tasty!! That Benedict was AMAZINGGGGG!! Only disappointment was the lack of bougie coffee options at breakfast haha – for how bougie the rest is, I kinda expected some more coffee options, but the food was AMAZING! Literally didn’t have to leave the hotel…the food was so good each time!

This place was pretty good. The French toast was good and the serving size was great but did not have a cinnamon flavor as I was expecting, but still not bad. The lemon pancakes did not really have any lemon flavor at all which was disappointing. However it was still a good pancake. The breakfast potatoes were also good but a few of the larger ones were slightly undone but still good. If you are in the area and it’s not busy you might consider stopping by especially if you stay at a hotel near it as well as it would be a good start to your day.

we were staying at the yotel next door and came here a couple of times for happy hour and a free ‘high tea’ that we won from the trivia night. happy hour beers and snacks were worth the price, although I don’t think I would’ve normally paid $65 for the afternoon tea, as delicious and aesthetically pleasing as it was (for a special occasion perhaps)!
