Definitely the best Sushi at St. Louis— the gem at charles area. Place is sparkling clean, owner is friendly, waitress is sweet and food is absolutely delish! Photo’s don’t do the justice. Highly recommended !

First time in and looking forward to going back! I had the Gold Coast roll and then the Summer roll after (as a dessert-type idea). Both rolls were terrific! Most specialty rolls are closer to $14-$15 a piece, but they also offer a good variety of $8 rolls too (i.e. Philadelphia roll). There was only one waiter at the time, but he hustled and service was great.

We’ve been three separate times and each time has been excellent. Price is a little higher than similar some local fast-casual restaurants, but the portion sizes are large and the food is (in my opinion) better. You can absolutely taste the freshness and quality of the ingredients in everything that they make. Staff is very friendly and the restaurant itself is beautifully done. They have a wide range of non-sushi options and the ability to combine tables to seat a group. There is additional parking behind the building if the front lot is full. Highly recommended.

We like to have sushi nights with friends and try to visit new locations around town. This was our first visit to this restaurant. The food was ok, but unfortunately the service wasn’t great. We got seated right by the door, so as all other people came in we got a rush of cold air. We had to specifically ask for a server to come to our table to take our order. We had to specifically ask for straws, and everything else that we should have had. We ordered 8 sushi rolls and they started bringing them out on different plates one at a time. One of the rolls came out on fire, which sounds cool, but every piece of that roll tasted like whatever fluid they used to light the fire. Even when we tried to pay, we had to walk up to the counter to ask for receipts since or server just swiped our cards and walked away.

I haven’t been to a great sushi place in a really long time. I flat out quit searching. I saw that their parking lot was always full, and the reviews were great, so I stopped in. Sushi Boat is by far my new favorite place for sushi, fried rice, AND vegetable tempura; their miso soup could not be any better either! The service is really good as well. They are super sweet and polite. Definitely, worth several visits.

Ordered Sushi Boat for my birthday last night. Got a tuna hand roll, personally not my favorite, but still good. I also got the New York roll, and I’m going to have to get it again before I move! So far it’s the best sushi I’ve had in St Charles!
