Absolutely phenomenal food, atmosphere, and staff. Rolf is an impressive chef as well as a gifted musician. Dining here is an experience that can’t be missed. I highly recommend the grapefruit beer, it’s light and refreshing. Nothing like fruity American beer. This is truly a farm to table restaurant and you can taste it in everything.

Whole family decided on a whim to give this place a try. Food was fresh, delicious, and authentic! Also enjoyed the owner playing the accordion and guitar. We all can not WAIT to come back and try more dishes and enjoy the music. German sampler platter, pretzel with mozzarella and bacon, and fire sausage were a hit! The cakes topped off the whole experience.

Rolf’s is beyond 5stars. The food is hand crafted and prepared in traditional style. We tried half the menu. Sausages, sides meatloaf…. Absolutely went crazy. We ordered twice what we normally would eat because it was amazing. I’m from Europe and the entire experience from food to atmosphere was like visiting Europe.

What an awesome restaurant! Authentic German food that was delicious! Rolf was an excellent host, visiting each table to ensure all guests were accomodated and enjoying their meals. The Schnitzel was fantastic, as were the sides. To top it off, Rolf played the accordian and guitar for his guests! If you love German food, like I do, this is well worth the trip! Kudo’s to Rolf and his friendly staff!

This restaurant is amazing. We love everything we have tried there. Make sure to get a pretzel they are the Bomb! Rolf will whip you up a special dish on request and I guarantee you it will be amazing.

Our son discovered this treasure of a restaurant and took us to eat here this weekend. Excellent food, excellent service and great conversation to top it all. Between the three of us, we tried much of the food offerings Rolf prepares. I had the sampler plate, which is awesome. My wife ordered one of his pizzas and our MDB student ordered a Bratwurst sandwich. Rolf came out and spoke to us several times, invited our son to Thursday night open mic and to the Wednesday night songwriters night. Rolf is a most excellent host. He is a martial arts master, a master chef, brilliant musician and a skilled luthier. If you come away from here hungry, it is your own fault. 🙂 I felt like I was at the table of my Aunt Hannalore. And don’t forget to try their coffee!!!

Delicious place to eat. I have been making time throughout the week to try Rolf’s dishes, and I highly recommend any of his pizzas, all his bratwurst dishes, and all of the pretzels. Take the time to enjoy a nice cup of joe as well! Also I was served by a wonderful waitress! I believe it was Catherine!

Tried for the first time this evening (11/13/21) and had an excellent meal. I ordered the jaegerschnitzel with a mushroom gravy, and the owner was very helpful in suggesting a good drink to pair with the food. If you haven’t given this place a try you’re missing out! I’ll definitely be back again to try other dishes on the menu.
