In 1983, Kim and Bill opened the first DaNang Restaurant on San Pablo Avenue (at Solano) in Albany. Yvan and Bryan basically grew up working there. After selling the business, we relocated to Antioch in 2008, a couple months before the economic meltdown. Cousin Sonny joined us a few years ago.
Now the original location in Albany has become available. We have now opened and hope the second time around will prove rewarding.

Delicious Vietnamese restaurant that offers lots of options. I would recommend their Vermicelli salad bowls with charbroiled meat, specifically the pork. The chicken was on the dryer side, but it’s nice that one can select two meat options with each bowl.

The best Vietnamese place in Antioch! The servers are great and the owners are lovely. The food is delicious and has never disappointed me. I love that you can add liver pâté to the bánh mì! I’ve tried many of the dishes and quite enjoyed them all. The restaurant on the inside is modern and attractive.

This spot never disappoints! My husband and I have eaten here twice, and just a few weekends ago my mother and I placed a to-go order and picked our food up in person (which I loved – their pick up process is so organized and professional). Each experience so far has been met with the kind and friendly staff! And don’t get me started on the food. Our bowls of choice are their Pho Tai and Beef Stew on a lazy Sunday morning. Give this place a try if your nearby or just passing by!

This is my mother and I’s go to spot but tonight I was displeased. I don’t know if it is because I ordered close to closing, but my “charbroiled” chicken was inedible. It was so dry that at first glance it looked like fried plantains. Only reason I have it 2 stars is because my mother is happy with her pho as always. (Don’t know if I personally will be ordering from here again)
