I went to this place not knowing what to expect. I went in completely blind, but like Jesus once did, this food made me see again. I could see the beauty of this place and scrumptious food that lay behind the counter. And oh boy oh boy did I eat all of it. The women behind the counter was so nice and we talked and joked about things we enjoy such as anime. I will always come back to this place because I live in the walls now. 😀

Food is excellent from here, convenient location at Five Forks/ corner of John Tyler Hwy and Ironbound Road. I always order the same thing from here and it’s the best in town General Tso’s Chicken with Chicken Fried Rice which I have to pay extra for but well worth the money. Local Family owned business to support fast quick service!

I’ve been going to this spot for years and have always been satisfied. They are always quick, food is always good, and the price is very fair. I have tried every Chinese take out spot in Williamsburg and this one is the best in both price and quality. I usually get the lunch specials as they are a great deal. For 7$ and some change you get an entree with a side of white or fried rice, and an eggrool or two crab Rangoons. Other places will charge 9-10$ for a similar lunch special. The quality of China woks food is superior to other take out places. The side of fried rice has bits of pork, onion, and scallions, and has actually been fried. As we know many places just have that yellowish brown rice with nothing in it and doesn’t appear or taste like it was fried. I usually get the lo mein and general tsos lunch special. The lo mein is some of the best in Williamsburg second to actual sit in restaurants. Many of the negative reviews of China wok are about customer service which yes the lady can be rude but I mean you just order your food and pay idk why anyone is getting upset. 10/10 would recommend.

My lunch was good as was the portion, I added soy sauce because it was very low in salt.

Poorly executed Chinese/American dishes. Even the Egg Rolls had no taste. White rice was about the only edible part of three meals. Avoid at all costs!

4-5 stars is a real fair rating, I think the low ratings is unfair because the person at the front isn’t very personable. I think there is a language barrier going on and she really is a friendly person at the front desk. The food was tasty and good

Should have read the reviews before giving this restaurant the benefit of the doubt! Some of the most flavorless Chinese food I’ve ever had. The beef fried rice was overcooked rice with some onion and shards (and I mean shards) of beef. No veggies, no scallions and I’m not sure it was even stir-fried. The Mei Fun noodles were so overcooked they seemed a gelatinous glob. They clearly need to invest in a new cook!

The food has been good, we been charge different price at different times because we get fried rice instead of white rice. Still a little on pricy side for dinner for what your really getting. We continue to order from here at times.
