Food has great flavor! Very authentic! The atmosphere is kinda grungy- they could use a remodel. So I’d take my food to go next time. They’re not really busy, and service was nothing special. I for the cold veggie salad, the favor is fire!! So good! The scallion pancakes were pretty good too. My brother got the beef soup, he said the flavor was delicious and it was a bit spicy. I got eggplant with a side of rice, loved the egg plant but the rice I will pass on next time. Unfortunately it was not fresh. I’ll definitely go back, but again probably for a take out experience this time.

Not sure what happened. This place was good before. This last visit was horrible. Almost every dish was salty. Not salty as in it’s good with white rice. It’s salty as in one bite needs a glass of water to wash down. One dish was salty and bland because it wasn’t mixed well. Duck was salty and dry. Sausages were dry. Never going back.

I had a crispy tofu dish. It was cooked well…very nice texture. But it was salty, salty, SALTY. Inedibly salty. I am not sure if this is normal for them, but I couldn’t really eat my meal because it was so salty.

Amazing delicious food. Ordered 4 dishes for a game night with friends. There are a decent amount of combinations and dishes to pick. We ended ordering the orange chicken, sliced beef with broccoli, stir-fried rice with seafood and cabbage in sweet and sour. Everything got ready within 20 minutes and the food was delightful. I am definitely coming back to eat here.

This restaurant is legitimately an all time culinary experience. Grew up in Davis, live in Sacramento now and I STILL come back for Chengdu Style… Mapo Tofu, Crispy Chicken with Ball pepper, shredded pork and green peppy…. SO GOOD!! Love you guys, Chengdu!!

Great spicy and delicious dishes! I love the toothpick lamb, the griddle intestine, the spicy jelly noodles, and the water spinach. So good and decent spice level, definitely not for those who can’t handle spice. Will definitely be back.
